You know, she never really got into these sorts of situations before she started working for Roman. It had, really, added both a sense of thrill and urgency to her life. Of course it probably had reduced her life by a few years, not that she really had much time to dwell on that, especially at this particular moment. Looked like he was high tailing it faster than she had reacted so that meant she needed to be hot on his heels unless she wanted to be punished for this whole fiasco that he had caused. Of course she was loyal to him to a fault, but she certainly wasn’t stupid. He could really move when he needed to which, of course, made it a little tough to keep up with him. Especially in these heels.

“Sir, h-have you ever considered for one moment that we’d have less issues of this nature if you admitted you were in the wrong every once in a while? Just a thought.” She probably could have saved that breath, but? Why not get a small jab in. It often felt like she was the only one who could and walk out of it without something missing.

  oh how she wished this one would just stay dead.  out of all the villains so lucky to have nine lives, roman sionis didn’t deserve his.  he was a headache to deal with and a thorn in her side.  one of the many to foolishly underestimate her when she was not her feral self.  barbara ann and the cheetah were now one being.  but she doesn’t need her claws to rip apart this one.  that’s what words were for and like most men, all she needed to do was pluck at his ego for him to realize that interrupting her as she speaks was not the BEST of ideas.
