Posted @withregram • @williamjohnbennettiii For today’s Three Sounds reel we are taking a look at the @greeramps Southland Harmonic Overdrive. It’s built off the platform of their Lightspeed overdrive (which has become my go-to drive pedal), with more gain and a more focused midrange. The Tele won the Southland Poll but I couldn’t help tossing the Les Paul in there for a riff. I really tried to lean into the whole Southland vibe, and both of these guitars just seemed essential to that goal. Even dusted off the slide for the solo, that was rough, took a few more takes than I’d like to admit, but sounded so right for this clip. Such a great amp solution. Will look forward to the three sounds…..Posted @withregram • @williamjohnbennettiii Looking forward to getting some quality time with the @milkmansound Amp 100 this weekend. Only had it plugged in for a couple quick plays but the first impressions are great. You’ll be hearing at least Three Sounds in the next couple weeks. It’s going to be the centerpiece of a little travel board I’m putting together, that will let me get some more guitar time in during the days out of the house (maybe I’ll finally practice some more!). I’ll also be doing some daytime livestreams every week (showing off pedals, having some friends pop in for gear chats, etc), so you’ll be hearing a lot of this over the next little while.
