Posted @withregram • @williamjohnbennettiii For today’s Three Sounds reel we are taking a look at the @greeramps Southland Harmonic Overdrive. It’s built off the platform of their Lightspeed overdrive (which has become my go-to drive pedal), with more gain and a more focused midrange. The Tele won the Southland Poll but I couldn’t help tossing the Les Paul in there for a riff. I really tried to lean into the whole Southland vibe, and both of these guitars just seemed essential to that goal. Even dusted off the slide for the solo, that was rough, took a few more takes than I’d like to admit, but sounded so right for this clip.
