I just want to thank you for the Aot jacket tutorial. I did the jacket but I was so unsure about the lining so I looked at your picture and figured it out :) I was confused because you have to turn the pieces on the opposite side etc.
Wah, thankyou! I had a quick peak at your FB page, and your WIP look so clean! You did a really good job!
I’m glad people still find my tutorials useful hehe :>
Okay, I love your new KH cosplay and it's so nice to see people starting to make his new outfit so fast. You're really fast! And it looks so awesome.
Thank you so much! I got really excited cause I’ve been waiting for the new outfit, so I couldn’t help myself haha
I'm also thinking of buying PS4 when KH 3 comes out but at the same time I'm hesitating... because it's a lot of money and I don't want to buy just for one game :/ This is what I hate with the KH games. I think it will be worth it but... my dad doesn't want me to...
Oh my god i know what you mean! i was looking at them before and the cheapest i could find was like $450(Australian), i can’t really justify spending that amount of money just so i can play one game. but at the same time, i really want to play the game, i haven’t played a KH game since 2 cause there spread over all those different platforms that i can’t afford to buy.
Sorry for asking again, but you're so nice. I haven't been drawing a lot for some months now. Instead I have learned dances and made dance covers, worked on cosplays etc. I don't have the habit to draw anymore. And some people from DA say that maybe it's not my passion because I don't make time for it. But I would be scared if art wasn't my real passion, I have done this for many years. I have just found new things to try out! Maybe it's just a phase?
I think it’s a great thing you got into dancing and cosplay! those are amazing talents and skills for you to have. Passions and interests change all the time. No one can tell you what your passion is except yourself. Exploring different arts and activities shouldn’t be frowned upon because you’re expanding your skillsets and interests. If you truly want to get back into drawing, leap right back in, don’t hesitate and don’t let other people tell you otherwise. What I must also say is, if you want to improve in whatever field, you have to focus and know that it also comes with discipline and self-motivation to learn new angles of that field. Trying new activities is fantastic, but also remember not to spread yourself too thin because if you want to get better, you need to focus.
Thanks a lot for the reply. I appreciate it a lot. I can't write as much as I want here so I will keep it short. How often do you get comissions and how do people pay you? Do you have work aside from this or do you study? Also, how often do you practice? I don't have a balance between practicing and drawing stuff that I want.
Commissions often come in waves. Sometimes they continuously come in, sometimes I have none at all. It’s all about throwing yourself out there and letting people know you’re open for commissions. I’ve usually dealt with commissions via PayPal, and it’s worked just fine :) And no school for me right now, i’m working mostly contract jobs to keep the bills paid.
I draw almost every single day, and I’m constantly looking up new techniques to try, so I get a lot of practice in with things I like drawing. I’ve done a lot of colouring studies with kingdom hearts character busts, so there’s no reason why you can’t have both practice and subject matter that you enjoy c: Though sometimes, depending on what you want to practise, yes you’re gonna have to step out of the comfort zone and do something you don’t particularly want to. Art, like any other skill, requires discipline in order to learn. You can always make a schedule, tell yourself “Okay, i’ll draw fan art Monday, Tuesday, look up some stuff to study and practise on Wednesday and Thursday, and whatever I feel like on fridays and weekends.“ Do what will help you find balance easiest!
I love your pokemon gijinkas outfits! So creative! I wish I could design outfits like that too. I would like to do that and then make a cosplay out of it. How do you make up these ideas? Btw would you mind if I someday made a cosplay based on your design? (I love blastoise) Ofc I will credit you. Also is it better to be active with posting your art on DA or tumblr? I have a problem keeping up with these accounts :S
Thank you for the compliments ^^
I dunno “how” I just look at a pokemon and go “oh that’d be a cool gijinka” ? Then just draw lol?Err, I have said it before and I’ll say it again tho, Please don’t cosplay my adopts… Or rather, I’d love you to but the designs are no longer mine, thus I cannot give you permission to do anything like that with them. Ask their owners for permission.
IDK what you mean by “better”, but dA and tumblr are like …apples and oranges? Theres not much of a comparison… Plus I do both so I don’t have to think about it, lol. It just depends on what you prefer xD
Omg your dmmd fancomic and art is just... I don't have words. I love the story and everything fits so well and it's so romantical that I could die <3 You can also design very well! I wish I could improve and become as good as you. Would you mind if I drew fanart of your ideas?
wheezes I totally won’t mind! Thanks for your kind message and support for this AU! ;;
