a 2.5mm-thick ABS print at ~15% infill is pretty flexible, when talking about objects measured in tens of centimeters, so be sure to note that down

OKAY, BUT DO YOU WANNA SEE SOME MASKS???
“What the fuck am I gonna do about ties??” Was my biggest problem for just so long, and as you can see, my many workarounds included “ribbon,” “lace,” “shoelaces,” and I now FINALLY have several huge spools of cotton cord that would be PERFECT if I didn’t FUCKING HATE the bit where I have to measure and cut and tie it all.
I've finished the last mask for the Ladies of the Months birthstone and birth flower series! Here’s a peek at the layers of acrylic paints in Lady of October’s leather carved mask.
Check out my Secret Sketchbook on Patreon for notes on the process, plus a special early announcement, plus a look at the final product just for my Patrons!
I’m sad that I’m not a writer right now.
And I’m sad that, by my own...compulsion...any extra time I can find in my day for writing, priorities will dictate I instead use to sew more masks.
I’m sad that the situation is such that I genuinely cannot give myself time to write.
The world is on fucking fire and I’m over here overthinking whether or not it’d be racist to donate cloth masks with cacti on them to the spanish-speaking community center.
School is reopening soon so I have now Come Up Against A Deadline (self-imposed) and need to start making child-sized masks. And I have. I’ve already cut and hemmed a bunch of pattern pieces, so I’m already a third of the way into making the batch.
But like.
It gives me feelings.
