Some Masked Lady Concepts I was throwing around. I borrowed some imagery that @pansythoughts did of her once that stuck out to me, where "Her brothers aspects rest uneasy on her shoulders," and "She is too complete with them." The imagery always stuck with me, so I kinda wanted to pull into that sense of discomfort with each in different ways.
With the first one, I wanted to play with the idea of her hair being more restrained around the body. She's covering more of herself, and keeping what is hers closer to herself. The shadows frame her in almost her entirety
In the second, I played more with the concept of a more subtle mask, and using the cloak more like loose fitting clothing. Her hair isn't restraining her as much, but it also is all over the place, as she doesn't know how to hold herself or how to move as gracefully as she once did. When I think about how she'd move like this, I imagine it's kind of...? disconcerting? She's in a spot where she doesn't feel comfortable in her own skin for the first time in a very long time.
With both, I played into the idea of the shadows of her cape moving more like hair into the ground, unlike Vhaeraun's (Which I tend to draw raising up from the ground.) Likewise, with both, she's attempting to make her brothers aspects fit her. But they just aren't hers to wear, and so neither design ends up feeling fully complete despite the chaos of both. Finally, she has her eyes wide open, because she's been gifted the sense of unease and paranoia that her brother normally carries and she is never at ease within this state.
Unlike Vhaeraun, I think she's a little less inclined to play with the size of her avatar. She's still standing at a careful 9' for both, because it's one of the things about "Herself" that she knows.
...
I'm probably going to come around and play with both of these? Nail out a few design kinks as they get drawn a bit more. But here's the base I want to build off of going forward. (:
