Yeah like I honestly wouldn’t blame her if she genuinely swore her loyalty but then again kuvira used her too to capture su and co. She seemed a bit irked about that too. Idk I wouldn’t be surprised if they made it a shippy thing for her and varrick

i just really want zhu li to get character development that isn't "answers to varrick's beck and call" that's all i ask for out of this ;~; i would be okay with varrick/zhu li if he realized how important she is to him besides that and like. apologizes for taking her for granted basically but eeeeeh that ship never sat right with me, even before kuvira entered the picture (except now i have no excuse but my own weaknesses for being trapped in never-canon-femslash-hell again)

yeah like honestly it would be a twist if she DIDN'T double-cross kuvira but bryke is pretty predictable when it comes to stuff like this :P i am a little sad though because varrick treated her badly for yeeears and i feel like some of the things she said when she was declaring her loyalty to kuvira were true (she was getting pretty ticked in the mecha battle)
