[Tanner] I saw his name, and he looks just like you. So I tracked down your number and called. I hope I wasn't overstepping. If it were my family, I'd want to know.

It’s….. been a while.
Just came on here to say:
I’ve seen a couple of interpretations about Maya and Mason’s talk. About how this is her letting go of the need to find him and forgive herself for “leaving” him. Which I agree with 100%.
But I also think that the realization Maya came to is that she’s NOT Lane. She will never be Lane. Because she chose love. She’s felt love and accepted love.
I think it’s her letting go of her fears. Letting go of the idea that she will be cruel to her kids because her father was cruel to her.
Maya will be a great mother. And I think she finally believes that.
They preyed on an easy target. No surprise there. These big hate speech spreaders preyed on a vulnerable kid who was desperate to find and latch onto anything and anyone who showed him an ounce of "love" and support.
Catching up on the final few episodes and wanted to run something by y’all cos I feel like I’m going crazy….am I making it up or am I right in remembering Maya saying her brother was one of the first people she came out to??
I swear I have a memory of her from the earlier seasons like the first time Mason popped up telling someone, maybe Andy, that Mason was the first person she came out to and he was super supportive blah blah blah
But fast forward to now she’s coming out to him in frustration and he is….awful. ???
