Two-thirds of the way into the North American tour behind their fourth studio album, last September’s Belaya Polosa, Belarusian post-punk trio Molchat Doma were heartily welcomed by a packed Knockdown Center on Friday night.

Now that daylight savings time is off (which is still a fucking stupid thing to do), it should be easier for me to do night photography without staying out too late.

New York City hasn’t felt safe this year. Not just from the pandemic, but also from attacks against Asian americans... for being Asian, and the rising gun violence throughout the boroughs. I don’t feel compelled to go out to take photos as much these past few months. I’m okay with that.
