Winter Skincare: Luxe Skin Therapy
Winter is here and for most of us in chilly parts of the country, that means cold weather and strong winds can sap our skin and hair of essential moisture. With that in mind, most of us (myself included) are looking for ways to infuse moisture to protect us until Spring returns. As part of my Winter Skincare series, I’m highlighting products that are meant to help you protect your skin, hair and nails during this somewhat rough season. Today’s focus is all about luxe skincare goodies. All items were gifted by the brand so lets get right into it!
Cuvée Beauty Hair & Body Glow
If you’re a fan of champagne, then the idea of a champagne infused body and hair oil might be your new best friend. Cuvée combines champagne, white truffle and platinum complex extracts to create this luxurious and silky smooth oil that offers serious hydration without feeling greasy. Added bonus: this lightly floral scented oil absorbs quickly into the skin but leaves a barely there shimmer to give you a gorgeous luminous glow without looking overdone.
Masqueology 24K Gold Facial Oil
For those who prefer oils that offer stronger instant relief, this 24K Gold Facial Oil is a must have. The facial oil actually does have flecks of 24K gold in it and they do dissolve if you’re concerned that you’re going to run around with gold on your face. This product promises to fight fine lines and wrinkles thanks to the gold while the orange oil helps to brighten your complexion.
Hands down, of these three products, this one is my favorite because it has the least obvious scent. Note, I did not say it’s unscented. There is a scent, but it’s very faint. Additionally, I feel it can be paired with your traditional moisturizer or even aloe vera for an intensive overnight moisture pack.
Masqueology 24K Gold Cream with Shimmer
For those who aren’t big on daily makeup, just want something for a pick-me-up between makeup days or something to make you feel glam on your way to the gym without rocking a face full of makeup (which makes no sense but that’s a topic for another day), this 24K Gold Cream with Shimmer is perfect. Wear alone or under makeup as a primer to give you that much coveted bridal glow even on the gloomiest of days. Like it’s facial oil cousin above, the 24K Gold Cream with Shimmer offers a combo of 24K gold to improve elasticity and hyaluronic acid & niacinamide to boost hydration. Note, this is a scented product. It’s not unpleasant but it’s definitely quite floral.
