Knuckle Heads Bar & Grill, New Bedford MA.

I went to Knuckle Heads with a few friends and we all got a few things to try. I tried the fish and chips and the lobster roll and clam chowder.

The clam chowder was delicious. It was a thick chowder and you could taste the clam meat.

The lobster roll was a little smaller than I thought it was going to be, but it was a small roll with the chowder. You could also order a jumbo lobster roll! The lobster meat was really good, it was fresh and there was a lot of meat on the roll. I thought there was too much mayo on the roll. The #lobstermayoratio was not what I really like in my roll. But I did get a full claw and a great toasted bun. The crunch of the bun with the fresh lobster meat was a good balance. I don’t think I would get the lobster roll again but I would definitely get the chowder and try other food!!

Based on presentation and taste of the lobster roll I would rate this roll a 7 out of 10.

The Establishment, Chelmsford MA.

Fish and Chips and New England Clam Chowder.

The Establishment is in a really cool old factory building that is attached to other shops. It’s in a great location! The restaurant itself was very big, with a nice bar area and then a huge dinning area. The dinning area is surrounded by windows so it feels very open.

The wait staff was nice, but they were late with one person’s party’s meal and drinks.

The fish and chips were over fried. I thought the fish inside was a little dry and overcooked. There was a nice spice to the fried fish, but it was just too much batter for my liking.

The clam chowdah was a good. It was not a thick chowdah but it was filled with a lot of potatoes. I wish there were more clams in it, that is what makes a delicious chowdah!

I would like to go back to The Establishment and try their burgers or sandwiches. I was not impressed by their seafood but I bet the other food there is good!

Based on presentation and taste of these dishes, the Chowder and Fish and Chips I would rate these dishes a 5 out of 10.

CShore Kitchen and Bar, Wellfleet MA.

Lobster Risotto- Maine lobster, mascarpone cheese, asparagus, peas, arborio rice, CBI Farms pea tendrils 🦞

Risotto is one of my favorite dishes, then add lobster to it and it makes the dish ten times better. This dish was delicious, the lobster was a good amount and you got a little with every bite. The lobster was fresh. The dish was a perfect size as well. Risotto is a heavy dish but the portion size was great and not too much.

If you like lobster I would recommend this dish if you go to CShore Kitchen and Bar 🦞
