happy monday folks. this track was stuck in my head today. it’s such a jam! (that beat!)
i actually had a p good monday (wasn’t exciting but i was pretty productive). my focus right now is just to stay as busy as possible (as distracted as possible). the busier i am, the less time i spend overthinking, the less time i spend feeling sad/ anxious/ weird, etc. (so far, it’s been working)
anyway, something new for this blog - i’ve uploaded an album for you! Deep Concentration Vol. 4: Wreckin’ the Floor. It’s the fourth (duh...) and last volume in a series of compilation mixes by Om Records. and its sooooo good! filled with classic boom-bap and jazzy beats - it’s a banger from start to finish!!!!

Massinfluence | Rhyme Placement | 1998
At the end of the summer of ‘93, Atlanta-based group Yall So Stupid was dropped from Rowdy Records, and all members parted ways. H2o then met Audessey The Sound Sci during a freestyle session in 1994 and along with DJ Exzact & Bruce Blacc formed a group called The Periodic Table of Sound, but when the last two departured, H2o and Audessey continued to record under the name Massinfluence, this time with the inclusion of rapper Cognito as their front-man. In 1997 former Yall So Stupid DJ Spearhead X enlisted the group as well. Massinfluence disbanded in 2002 after recording their second album called “The I.S.M. - Intellect Street Music”, with DJ Applejac. The Album was never released and Audessey went back to school, Cognito constructed the Frolab, and H2o kept his career as a solo artist under his new alias Kid Captain Coolout.
