Education Technology in Oman
In the current years, technology has been linked to education, as it has made it necessary for educational institutions to keep pace with this and to renew the methods and means of education. Therefore, many educational institutions in different countries resorted to the use of technology and the communication revolution in the transfer of science and knowledge to the learner. We find many countries of the world have introduced the latest technologies in their educational environments in order to increase the quality of education.
One of the most important roles that technology plays in enriching the education process is to eliminate all temporal and spatial obstacles that hindered a number of those who wish to complete their education. In addition to contributing to the absorption of the increase in learners, which were unable to accommodate the traditional methods of education that require additional buildings and facilities.
Despite the importance of the presence of technology in education and its apparent impact, it has not been relied upon in Oman before. In light of what the world is witnessing now in the Corona pandemic, the importance of linking education with technology has emerged. After the suspension of studies for a long period, the absence of solutions, and the technological weakness, which led to the emergence of a wave of dissatisfaction with education in Oman. So The need to develop education is very necessary and cannot be postponed.
This pandemic came to show the extent of the delay in e-learning in Oman. In spite of this, however, there are many efforts undertaken by various institutions to develop e-learning that provides many advantages, including: improving the educational process, relying on self-learning, which mainly depends on the learner in developing his abilities. It is considered the best solution for those who are cut off from reaching schools or universities due to the conditions in the region.
The reliance of educational institutions in the future on the existence of a special system for managing e-learning is a basic requirement due to the prominent role that e-learning plays in developing the quality of education and solving difficulties.

Deepfake Technology
Technological advances have changed the way we live and communicate. A form of artificial intelligence that has emerged recently was deep-fake technology. This technology uses real photos or videos and turns them into fake photos and videos for a specific purpose. All this is done in complex ways. So that it becomes difficult to distinguish between real photos and fake videos.
Deepfake technology has brought great advantages to social development, but also disadvantages that are expressed individually and collectively.
The main risk of deepfake technology is to would be used to create fake videos with the aim of political disinformation and manipulation of public opinion by targeting political figures and celebrities.
For example, videos on the Tik Tok application of American actor Tom Cruise topped social media platforms around the world, and millions of people watched them but, the surprise was that those clips were fake, which raised concern about the improvement of deep-fake technology has reached.
Actor Miles Fisher embodied the character of "Cruz", where there is a great similarity in behaviour and voice, which seemed to viewers as if the video was real and not fake.
Experts who specialize in technical crimes were deceived by this video and were unable to find indications that the videos of Cruise were not real.
despite that, deep-fake has a lot of positives. Experts expect that our voices will be used in the future with the help of voice assistants such as “Alexa” from Amazon, to allow users to stay in touch with their friends after Death.
However, one of its benefits is its use by filmmakers to create classic scenes in movies and to create new films starring long-dead actors.
Deepfakes also allow us to simulate entire aspects of our personality after death and train them with our voices on social media.
Deep-fake techniques will continue to evolve and will be used for negative purposes in the absence of legal oversight. While deep forgery raises concern on the larger social and political level, it should be a concern for business owners whose financial assets and personal information may be at risk.

The return to the study seats is like the return to the real life after the peak period of Covid 19. The 12th of September 2021 is a-day to remember as we all see our friends and colleagues again. In the first day the weather was soo hot, and we couldn’t find the class, I think it’s normal after along time we didn’t come to university. My dr Sonia take photo with the student.
