I want to say that, so far into the book, my favorite story is probably that of the 3 sisters. Not only because I love Harún and Ja'far, but also because of the whole:
Harún: I'mma gonna ask them
Ja'far: hoe don't do it
Harún, Massrur and the other men there: *ask about the whole ordeal even tho they were warned not to by their hostesses*
Ja'far: OMG
And then for it to be like:
Bunch of dudes appear out of nowhere and put swords to their necks.
The sisters: we warned you, now y'all gotta die
Ja'far: for the record, I was against that stupid ass idea
And then the bunch of idiots are like: what if? What if I tell you the story how I ended up like this and if y'all find it exciting u let me live?
And the sisters are like: yeah, sounds like a sweet deal
And they all live
