Massukos
MASSUKOS performing live at Glastonbury Festival 2008, Somerset, England, UK. Saturday 28th June 2008, at the Jazz World Stage.
One of my highlights from the 2008 festival - I've got a big collection of world music photography on my Flickr site.
Massukos are from Mozambique and are a big, rolling band, thumping band calling and responding in wonderful songs. All these musicians give of their time and very modest income to medical projects across their country.
