Some thoughts about that ask you send me comparing Yoke x Weaponsmith!y/n with Yutamaki.

It leads to some idea what they're like jjk au:

I did say that I could see Yoketron being Maki and y/n being Yuta due to them being a rookie compared to him. But then I remember, Yuta have an immense amount of cursed energy while Maki doesn't (i think, that's what my memory is telling me).

Soooooooo, i think Yoketron and y/n are like a mix of both of them. In terms of dynamic Yoke is Maki and y/n is Yuta, but in term of like the power aspect(?) Yoketron is Yuta and y/n is Maki. If that make sense, since I remember in your fic you mentioned Yoketron being a prodigy while y/n is a hardworker.

And Weaponsmith!y/n could be making cursed weapon! How do they see curses when they don't wear glasses? Probably contact lenses orr... the safety mask.

Also do you think in Yokey/n's case, he's still the one that falls first? Or is it like y/n fall first but he fall harder.

YEAH THEY BOTH HAVE ASPECTS OF YUTA & MAKI! like i won't lie, some of my fics are inspired by some of my fav ships (and some are my not so fav fics) from other fandoms so when i make a fic, i try to envision a dynamic that would suit the character & personality i've chosen for the reader to insert themselves into... its kinda why i don't really have an SG version of them well thought out yet cause idk how to SG YutaMaki 😔

Weaponsmith has Maki's no nonsense attitude when they are older but when they're younger, they're a lot more like Yuta. Like they transitioning from s1 Yuta to post Zenin Clan, badass Maki.

Meanwhile, for our Yoketron, I was thinking for him to be more like JJK 0 Maki and then he transitions into Cullen Games Yuta.

I can 100% imagine old mech Yoketron going like Yuta in that panel if he needed someone to take care of his injured conjux. He would be so dead serious cause they would mean his whole spark to him. He would genuinely be devastated if anything were to happen to them.

THEY MAKE CURSED WEAPONS YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS OMG i guess their protective mask they use at the forge could help them see curses!!! or maybe they have a heavenly restriction like Maki... they can't access their energy to channel it out as attacks but they can only use it to imbue into weapons? not so sure... or it could be a binding vow they took so that they could make better, stronger weapons.
