Visited NYC this weekend for my best friend’s birthday!! This is me trying to read on a very overcrowded train
Thinking about how the temporary nature of some things, relationships, experiences, etc. can actually make them more beautiful. What felt soul-crushing before is now a fond memory that I carry with me everywhere i go.
My good friend Vincent helping me get through 8 hours of training today (I looked through my book during breaks)
I survived my first 6 months at work and got my first raise! I also did super well in my progress review and got 2/3 excellent ratings (I was told no one gets these during their training years so I wasn’t expecting it, my over achieving personality was rewarded this time 😬)
Aaaaand my best friend came to visit me this weekend…I’d say I’ve had a pretty great week ☺️
