How was the ocean?
hes sick now
Following up on your 8 count cat round up, how well do they get along with each other? Did you slowly introduce them?
When we moved in together, we didn’t worry overmuch about slowly introducing Mica, Mittens, CiCi, and Tiny, but they figured out the pecking order pretty quickly without any issue. Mittens and Mica were happy to cuddle with Neal, and CiCi and Tiny wanted my attention. So long as they got it, they weren’t too sad. And neither of us were working right away so we had time to pay enough attention to them it wasn’t a problem.
When we introduced The Fluff, he stayed in the basement for about a week/week-and-a-half. He was pretty sick with a sinus infection & the basement door had a cat door to it so they could see each other through there. He waited on the top step a lot hoping for pets, and he slept the rest of the time.
When he came upstairs all four other cats hated him, the balance was disrupted, he got hissed and growled at all the time, and Neal and I didn’t sleep for at least a month. (He has this ANNOYING habit of getting yelled at by another cat and just FLOPPING OVER ONTO HIS SIDE to show he doesn’t mean any harm but what they WANT is for him to GO AWAY. Cue more hissing.)
But then balance was mostly restored, the cats sorted things out, and though there was the occasional li’l fight, all was well with the world.
When we got Echo and the boys, we put them in the basement, too, but Echo screamed (she has a very loud meow it’s like screaming whenever she does it; I’ll upload a video sometime soon) all the time and it was horrifying. She was disoriented with babies and confused and there were other adult cats, some of whom she hated immensely and some she tolerated.
I started letting the boys roam around upstairs and then there was a panicky situation where I thought I threw one out with the trash on accident BUT hours later while I was still panicking I found the little piece of shit under the kitchen cabinet; they’d found a hole to crawl in there somehow... GOD. (Like seriously I was losing my mind. Terrified. They were playing in the garbage bags and I had thrown out the trash and it had gotten hauled away. I’ve never freaked out so hard in my life but this was a SMALL apartment and there were only so many places the sneaks could hide so. ANYWAY.)
Echo decided The Fluff was a cool bro and a good stepdad to the boys and gave them a stamp of approval to play together.
THEN WE MOVED INTO A DUPLEX where there was more room and a huge basement. We left the basement open, had room for six whole litterboxes, and all the cats were really happy with the extra space and WAY BETTER LIGHTING. Neal was working and I wasn’t.
But then I got a job aaand shortly after that, CiCi booked it to the basement and wouldn’t come out. For months.
Winter set in so we shut up the basement to save on heating and brought CiCi upstairs. She adjusted really fast!
I wouldn’t say they all love each other, but The Fluff Family (Echo, The Fluff, Orville, Wilbur) are all good friends. They sleep all together sometimes, but it’s pretty regular to find one of the boys with one of the ‘parent’ cats. I have pictures of them all grooming each other it’s so grossly cute.
Echo picks on Tiny and CiCi. The Fluff makes Mica nervous as hell and since she only has one eye now, she can’t tell when he’s gone so she’ll growl at him for like an hour after he leaves the area.
But they have their routines and their favorite places to sit/sleep. Echo likes to scream in the bathroom while watching you shower from the shelf next to the shower. Tiny likes rolling around on the bathroom rug while squeaking. Orville likes to sit on the edge of the tub between the plastic/decorative curtain to watch you shower. Mica likes the kitchen countertop. CiCi likes the pillow behind the one I use to sleep on. Mittens likes The Chair. The Fluff likes the back of the chair/couch and to rest his chin on the top of your head. Wilbur likes food; he’s not very affectionate but hoo boy open any food and he is THERE waiting to drag it away.
So for the most part, because they do like different things, they tend to leave one another alone. There are fights now and then, but nothing too terrible, and I think after all these years of pet ownership, I expect it, so it doesn’t bother me. I know cats hissing at each other makes some people panic but I’ve always had a lot of cats and it’s always happened; it’s just how they communicate their displeasure loudly: “Get out of my space!” And it usually works. :D
Happy Birthday! 🎂
THANK YOOOOOOOOOOOU!

Why they gotta make you choose?
idk…this whole thing about picking tungles makes me nervous in general xD as how I see it is like viewing them as blogs before persons…if someone knows they’re important to you that should be enough, is not like you’re carrying your friends from the hand anywhere to remind them you care too right? u^^
How did you like the basement?

Kenny Ackerman
My first impressions of them: “I hate you!! you’re kinda cool…but I still hate you!”
What I think of their design: well I love everything about it lmao as I said before is the embodiment of men aesthetic for me pfff
What I think of their role in the story: It was…a good relief and a contribution to keep interest in the series because although he didn’t appear too much his scenes were always filled with a mix of entertainment, information, emotion, did I say entertainment?
What I think of their interactions with other characters: mmmm I like the frenemy-like relationship between him an Rod lmao…his loyalty towards Uri is sweet as well…and then there’s his relationship with Levi which inspired many of my drawings lol. Nothing beats the not-so-bad annoying uncle/parent figure dynamics. I wish I’d have seen him interact with Erwin, Hanji…or Kuchel! even though I guess the silent way he mourned in her room was fair enough…I still was curious about their ackersibling behaviour ; ;
My favorite aspect of the character overall: he’s TOO FUNNY oh shit…he’s such a good inspiration for so many ideas I tell you, the headcanons are LIMITLESS and fsnhfasas idk he was indeed messed up but that’s like… part of his charm?? like that “oi oi oi that means if I eat Eren I won’t turn into a titan??!” thing?? CHRIST KENNY LMAO he’s like a kid…and pretty much the voice of many readers I can bet.
What could have been improved or changed with regards to the character: his character itself? nothing I think..I just wanted more interactions OTL
My number one wish for this character: he’s dead ahahahAHAHHAh oh well…guess now I just hope that Levi thinks of him too if he dies? or something alike? idk :P
