My Version
I found this slightly harder in some aspects due to there being more elements to it. However I do feel I gave a good attempt.

My version
Above is the version I created of the bar charts. I found the different colours difficult to achieve within the circle but eventually managed it. I was unable to find the exact font but went with a style similar.

So I found this one a bit more complex, due to small details like the dots, which compared to the original are too large. I feel I did make a good attempt though.

With a revised Colour Scheme
So I recreated the charts and gave a different colour scheme to show a different version of what it could look like, I didn't have a lot of difficulty except making sure the fonts, font size were appropriate and that the spacing between the bars were appropriate.
Master Apprentice Tasks
Here are my two recreations of the most recent infographic task.

Infographics Master Apprentice Exercise 2
The second Master Apprentice task based on Infographics was to recreate two sets of bar charts.
Bar Chart 1
This was my first attempt at recreating a bar chart so it took me a bit of time to get used to the layout. Overall, I found this bar chart relatively easy to recreate. The only thing I would have done differently, if I was recreating this again, would be to focus on the line width of the lines that overlay the bars. This was the bit I found challenging as although these lines are the same width as the graph lines, I feel they are too thick across the bars and are too dark. As I may include a bar graph in my infographic, I will continue to learn how to create them.

Bar Chart 2
I found this one easier than the first one to recreate. The main challenge I had whilst recreating this bar chart was matching all the gradients to the original version. Overall, I ma happy with my recreation and this could be a similar bar chart to the one I may use in my infographic.

Infographics Master Apprentice Exercise
This was our third master apprentice exercise set by our lecturer. We have moved on from travel icons and cityscapes and are now working towards our final project of IXD104 which is creating an Infographic based around population. This master apprentice exercise was to recreate a set of graphs and pie charts. We were given this exercise so we can begin to learn how to create graphs in Illustrator or Sketch, which will help us when we are creating our own infographic as we may use these graphs to show data.
Graph Set 1
Overall, I found this set of graphs easy to recreate and I am pleased with how my recreations turned out. One graph I found a bit more difficult to recreate was the top left one. I found this one difficult to recreate due to it requiring a cut circle with rounded edges at the end of the cut. I began experimenting with the pen tool and I, eventually after a lot of attempts, got the curve to replicate the purple circle in this diagram. There probably is an easier way to do this, but I found this worked well for me. However, I will continue to experiment with the tools on Illustrator to build my knowledge and skills of this application. I also experimented with a different colour scheme for this graph set.

Graph 2
I found this graph quite easy to recreate as it was mainly created with circles, squares and triangles. The only difficulty I had with recreating this was finding the correct font for the ’25’ in the middle of the chart. I looked through Adobe Typekit and a few other websites but found that Typekit had the best selection of similar fonts. I chose the font ‘Neuzeit Grotesk Light’ as I thought it looked quite close to the original. Again, I changed the colour scheme of the graph to see how it would look with different colours.
