@masterkolar Ahsoka had only spent half a year at the Jedi temple and being Anakin's padawan. Sometimes she felt overwhelmed with this new life, new people, people who intimidated her at times. She was striving so hard and so quickly it got to her. Ahsoka didn't want to go to Anakin about this though, she didn't want him to think she was being weak already. Kolar was someone she met on her first day and felt pretty welcoming to her. She decided to go to him. Making her way through the temple she spots him. "Master Kolar!" She shouts and rushes to him. She was still childish.

       Why must Jedi be so STUBBORN? The blonde felt her chin lift, eyeing the other as if there were to be something to DEFEND against. Of course, she knew Jedi to be rather leaned towards peaceful negotiations, but she was a Sith lord, their beliefs rather swayed when it came to her kind.        “ -- I know it may be strange to here, but I’m not necessarily looking to FIGHT against you, I have better things to take care of.”

“snarky” doesn’t mean “constantly being a dick for no reason” or “inappropriately disrespectful in situations that warrant a certain degree of formality”

it’s not like characters can’t be like that, but don’t brush it under the label of “sass”, and especially don’t expect that characters who behave that way wouldn’t face consequences for behaving inappropriately. and if they’re not meant to be consistently rude/inappropriate and are, in fact, intended to just be sarcastic and sharp-witted, they shouldn’t behave the same way around, say, authority figures as they would with their friends.

“Master Kolar,” Qui-Gon said bowing his head as a sign of respect for the other man.  It was nice to see a face that did not look upon him as if he had sprouted an extra head or limb, where he had simply survived the wound he had gotten at the hands of a sith.
