obi-wan couldn’t help the sigh that escaped him for what was already the second time in this conversation. venom-mites. great. this was precisely what the young jedi wanted out of his morning.

                 She shook the dust off her dress and covered the campfire with some dirt                      before slowly ascending down the hill towards the nest. From there,                      she could clearly see how much she underestimated the size of VENOM-MITE                      nests. She always heard about how big they were from rumors at KALEVALA,                       but she never expected them to be this big. She inhaled sharply and                      hushed her voice to a whisper.

         “You know I respect your ideals, Satine, but I don’t speak for the whole Galactic Senate.” War had turned so many of them into CRUEL BEASTS, wanting to prolong the fighting until their side won, no matter the causalities. “I will attempt to speak with Chancellor Palpatine, but I can’t make you any promises that the situation will get better.” It’s hard. Padmé has friends on all sides of this war — in the senate, on the battlefield, those who stand with the Separatists, and those who choose to stand in neutrality. Sometimes it is difficult to separate her personal feelings from the well-being of the senate. Still, she holds great RESPECT for Satine and do whatever she can to support Mandalore.

〔 ❋ 〕— Perhaps all of her stress was showing through her anger, and she knew                     she had to pacify it. There was no use getting angry. The SENATOR was doing                     everything she can and she knew it ; she could at least be grateful that something                     was being done.
