i have no idea what camp nanowrimo is but im always up for writing c:

campnanowrimo is like NaNo but in April/June instead of November. It’s a lot of fun. The Premise is write a novel in a month sort of thing. You set a word count goal and basically just write. Ignoring all grammar and editing until after you've reached your word count goal/finished the story. It’s basically the we’re going to write this entire gods damned book and we’re going to do it now editing can wait until later phase of writing. Except condensed into a month

death cab for cutie immediately brings to mind the postal service! im pretty sure they have the same lead singer??? bright eyes and modest mouse would be right up ur alley (tbh i had those in mind and i googled it and they were both suggested HUH im onto something)

in terms of red hot chili peppers, i've never really been a big fan of them so i might be pulling some of this out of my ass, but 311 does stuff similar to them (it has a more sublime feel to it though). same with the dirty heads. stone temple pilots are a lot like them????? check out plush that's good.
