There’s been some writing going on these past wight months. I finally decided to make my own summary on them and do a kind of master post on them. It feels odd. Still gonna do it. Lists makes everything more structured?

Finished works

A Study in Floodgates and the Art of Tipping Scales Sherlock/John Multichapter (19/19) Explicit Everyone in this story has issues. Some have major issues. Sherlock and John certainly do. Love complicates things further and is by no means a fix-it, rather the opposite. Everything derails, but there’s love underneath all that awkwardness and slightly disturbing events and thoughts. Each chapter attempts to illustrate a psychiatric or psychological phenomenon. Developing relationship. Trigger warnings for all kind of mental health issues. Has a new sequence too (see WIP further down). My very first fanfiction.

Entangle and Diffuse Sherlock/John One shot Unrated (reviewed as ‘very light explicit’) Teenlock. When the clocks stops moving backwards and the resin (depression) eases, something else emerges, something tingling and hasty. And perhaps kissing will help with the tingling, but then perhaps you need more. Bipolar disorder. First time. Slightly stream-of-consciousness.

Minutes That Pass Outside Your Timeline Sherlock/John One shot Mature Fragments of Sherlock observing John losing time (dissociating due to PTSD). Developing relationship. Set in the Floodgates verse, but is not part of the storyline there. Stand alone. Perhaps the work I feel most dubious about myself.

The Landlocked Adventures of the Depressed Tuna Detective Sherlock/John One shot Gen This is pure crack. Happened because people kept giving me fish puns after I started joking about depressed Tunalock. And then I had a long fever, and yes, this happened. Depressed, land-living tuna!lock feels like a fish on dry land while trying to escape Moriarty’s Net and finding out that his very human flatmate might be quite a catch. 

Prosaic Retellings of Chemical Reactions Sherlock/John Multichapter (5/5) Unrated (mature-ish) Short first person present tense observations of falling in love. Each chapter focused on the effects of one neurotransmitter involved in either infatuation, love or sex. Overuse of italics.

Shifts in Velocity Sherlock/John One Shot Mature Bipolar disorder and Sherlock. Slices of life. Yes; that sums it up pretty well. With guest appearance of the Riding Crop. For reasons.

Noise Reduction Sherlock/John One Shot Explicit My entry to the Kiltock Flash Challenge. Initially meant as a PWP. Turns out it’s mostly read as ‘painful’. Student-John gets drunk in a club after his family Christmas is once again ruined, and teenage-Sherlock is at the same club looking for a fix. In the end, they find other ways to forget.

Collections of Stand Alones

Verbose Ficlets illustrating an obscure or unusual word. Takes place in different AUs or verses and are fully independent of each other. Experiments in narratives. Tends to be slightly darker/angsty (though not the word I’d use myself) than my other works. Now posted as separate works instead of a multichapter collection. Includes: Phosphene (Sherlock/John, Mature) Tacenda (Sherlock/John -maybe-, Teen and up) Anomie (Multi, Teen and up) Pygalgia (Sherlock/John, Explicit)

Saudade, dear Poems. Very stand alone. Tends to lean towards saudade or regret/longing. Very free-form. Lots of parantheses? Includes: fragments breaking the noise floor (Teen and up) Things About Bodies Still Alive (General Audiences) damage done (General Audiences) ignoring the dust as it settles (Teen and up)

WIP

Chaos and Codependency (on temporary hiatus; author has doubts. Will be finished; author loves writing it.) Sherlock/John Multichapter Explicit Second sequence in the Floodgates verse. Could be read on its own. Same theme with psychiatry and psychology.

Patterns of Silver Birds Sherlock/John Multichapter Unrated (will end up explicit) A story in which love can truly be regarded as a chemical defect. Seeing patterns that others miss is an advantage. Seeing patterns that doesn’t even exists is just irrational. Obsessive-compulsive disorder, but not the most commonly described type. In which it’s hard to tell if love is yet another obsession fueled by your imbalanced brain chemicals or something that would happen regardless. Developing relationship with heavy emphasis on patterns and thoughts. Described as “extremely neurodivergent in so almost all aspects” (thank you, I think :P). Perhaps my favorite work.
