Writing questions! I'm going to rattle off a bunch of general questions, but please feel free to pick and choose whichever ones you'd prefer to elaborate on!
When writing, how would you describe your process of writing a reply? What comes first, what does the brain find its most intrigue in when responding to a partner, when is it time to slot in the icons? Are there some attributes of the character you actively aim to display specifically through the way your text is written? Are there any facets you find it important to emphasize while writing, and how does that impact the way you write?
If you're the type to write multiple muses, does your writing style change between characters? Would you say you have a particular style of writing at all? Or are you just letting your typing take you wherever it may?
Starters, asks, plotted threads: what's your preferred method of beginning interactions? Fluff, angst, comedy: what do you find most fun? Is there a type of writing that you don't get to do very often and would like to?
I am a very visual person! So the first thing in my writing process is usually the icons. While I usually get a feeling just from reading, the icons really help push and pull the reply I want to do! Dialogue comes next because the backbone of every roleplay and it goes neatly underneath those pretty lil' icons. Once those two are set up, the real fun begins.
I feel like I struggle a lot as a show don't tell person, and I can recognize that. I think my biggest thing holding me back is that ... I am afraid to let my muse do horrible things! This leads to me introducing lines that never get elaborated and some ... struggle for some consistency for me.
I don't actively think about what I'm writing - I usually can type out a reply in one sitting. Sometimes I choose to rewrite the entire thing, sometimes I just trim it down. But it really depends on my type of day. I don't think I have a particular way of writing ... I just kinda... write! My brain works in a very "go fast" mentality.
... Hoho. Hohohohoho. The most fun for me is angst and tragedy, is that even a question? I want my muses to bend and break and be pushed to their absolute limits. I want them to completely break down.
