explanations: first off all, the entire vibe of this song is just very griffin. v peppy and upbeat, has its low and scary sounding points but overall is just so groovy and makes you wanna skip down the side walk. but the lyrics !!! griffin def has a knack for making people smile because he’s just so easy to get along with, but he’s got his little vices that can expose sides of him that are not so friendly

explanations: ZOO WEE MAMA IS THIS SONG HIM TO A T. the first batch of lyrics relates to him bc his job is lobbying, meaning he literally has to be eloquent and convincing for a living. and i also like to think that w the way i write him, griff words things in a Certain Type of Way that’s just good, you know ?? and then that second lyric bit ??? v dark i’m aware but he Does dabble frequently in very extreme drugs that he shouldn’t and its definitely leading him quickly and effectively towards a v dangerous path that he’s just way too good at hiding

explanations: i rlly like the first lyric bunch for griffo bc when i tell y’all this man is an actual addict and yet most ppl don’t even know ?? like i feel like characters r v aware that he’s the party animal but just not to the extreme extent that it rlly is, and thus no one rlly worries abt him besides his family and gwen and soleil, who r aware. and griffin prefers it that way tbh like he genuinely does not think he has a problem so doesn’t want to hear any concern. and then the second lyric set i interpret in two ways, both of which apply to him: he’s got so many “windows of opportunities” open bc he rlly is so successful as a young lobbyist. like he doesn’t wear designer bc he doesn’t know any designer lmao but griffin is lowkey loaded. literally just google how much a lobbyist makes. n then my second interpretation is that the windows are his dangerous lifestyle habits, and he’s got so many going on that you’d think he’s about to do smth dangerous, but he’s rlly not. he’s just irresponsible and aloof to his own irresponsibleness
and then finally, the last line rlly is a testament to him bc it’s almost like the law is his Lord since his whole job is about either refuting or supporting legal policies being introduced, and yet he’s constantly breaking the law w the drug choices he makes !!

currently lives in a renovated first floor apartment in brooklyn . he has a private garden and a solarium that he’s ridiculously attached to ( and you couldn’t pay him to live anywhere other than brooklyn ) .
a very simple man when it comes to his café orders . prefers either a caffé americano or espresso macchiato with a butter croissant . he doesn’t buy coffee often , though . if he’s not rushing out of the house ( as he usually is ) he’ll take the time to make french press coffee .
the chef friend ( of course ) who makes sure everyone eats when they come over . whether it’s finger foods or something fancy he whipped up , hanbin makes sure everyone gets something they like when they come over . his proudest possession is his small wine collection .
HOME.
ngl , duri pretty much runs his house . she has a comfortable place to sleep in his bedroom and also the living room , but spends her time in the solarium instead . has a basket overflowing with toys and always buys her a new one even when she doesn’t need one .
very much an organized mess . people get confused looking for things in his house because it might not make sense to them , but it makes perfect sense to him .
same thing with his closet , hanbin knows where everything is but someone else might not . took the time to organize everything based on color and brand .
his favorite piece of furniture in his apartment is this fancy sectional he found at west elm . he’s all about functional furniture , but he especially loves the neutrality of brown leather . i don’t know exactly how his apartment is styled , but i’d like to think that it’s very neutral in terms of tones .
despite the fact that she spent the first 19 years of her life in the same town, it never felt like home to her. it was the type of town where everyone had some connection to every other person. they knew each other intimately, the size of the town didn’t allow any way around it. everyone who josie grew up around loved almswood. nobody ever seemed to leave, nor did they have any desire to do so. everyone spent their first eighteen years going to the same school with the same thirty-something people and after graduation, most people either went to the community college a half hour away or got married and settled down almost immediately. the distain was palpable in the voices of those who asked her about her college plans. “oh! columbia. bless your heart.” “isn’t that school in new york? don’t you think that’s a bit too… urban? and it’s so far away! wouldn’t you just be happier here?” no, she decided. she wanted something different, something more than what almswood had to offer. it may have been her hometown, but that didn’t mean that it was her home.
If Milo could break his heart into little pieces, all sorts of things would fall out. Music, theater, films, videos, and New York City. Sure, it was wholesome, but what’s wrong with just doing things that make you happy?
located at the madison square park tower , athena’s penthouse of residence is the definition of luxurious. marble , blush , chanel & rose gold were the main focus of the interior design & the penthouse wore it very well. while that didn’t go unnoticed , the view alone was worth the price tag.
the first home she could call her own. although it was not her forever home , it was still exciting. she had no idea how her mothers convinced her to stay in the columbia housing throughout her entire college career. but , i guess they made up for it by gifting her the penthouse that she was eyeing since her junior year. it took her months to finally get it to where she wanted it & proud wasn’t even the correct adjective to describe how she felt once the finishing touches were added. she knew new york city was where she wanted to be & there was no turning back as soon as she signed on the dotted line & got her keys. she was determined to make a name for herself. being another cho to take over the country club business was not an option.
what was an option was her finally accepting the friend request that she received months prior. with millions of emotions eating her up leading to the first night in her new home , athena didn’t know what to do. she was angry. she felt betrayed. she was sad. she was curious. she was confused. why ? why now ? after all these years , why now ? she hated her. she hated how she abandoned her. she hated how she had another child & kept them. was she not good enough ? she hated how she made her feel like she was never good enough. she fucking hated her. yet , the first night in her new home was the first night of her finally getting to ask her ‘ why ? ’
