[GIFTS!]
It was a long break, and May had managed to spend most of it with her family. Having just come back to school, she had a large duffle over one shoulder, and an over-packed shopping bag in her hands. Wobbling through the hallways, she eventually made it back to her dorm room, where she immediately plopped her things on the ground.
"Phew! What a trip..." May exclaimed, rubbing her shoulders. Looking down at the shopping bag, her eyebrows rose in thought. Digging in the bag, she took out a messily wrapped present with cute wrapping paper and sharpie scribbles on for the name. Letting out a breath and a smile, she figured that now was a good time to deliver these.
Excitedly picking up the bag, she headed into the dorm hallway and deliver these to their respective doors along with a bag of cookies for everyone.
Brendan's gift didn't look like as much as the others on the outside, but upon opening it he'd find a hand-knitted green sweater and a card wrapped inside. May went through a lot of trouble to get it done in time, and there are a few mistakes, but she put a lot of work and love into it. It was a stretch for her abilities, but it turned out well in the end. Written in the card is, 'BRENDAN!!!!! I'm so glad we go to the same school now!! I hope you had a wonderful break, and that you're totally prepared for me to visit your dorm room every week so we can hang out! Lots of love and hugs, May"
Gold got a nice hand-knitted ribbed scarf. It's wide, and it looked like it took a while to make because of it. When unfolded, there's something inside... It's a magic conch shell with a yellow post-it note on it! It says "ask it another good question or 2, ok? :) hope to see more of you his semester! May <3"
For Ash, a cozy red and white winter scarf and gloves set with an additional bag of homemade fudge. The set have a nice pattern all across them, and they're quite soft and warm. May would have knitted it if she didn't give herself some huge projects this winter, but thankfully she found these and thought they looked perfect for Ash.
In an actual gift box with lots of hearts drawn on the front of it, Hikari has a whole outfit that May bought for her. A cute sheer light-pink collared shirt, a black skirt, a pair of black and white floral-patterned flats, and a pink flower hair-clip with black beads in the center to match the outfit.
Mei also received a nice gift box with a cute yellow and white sundress with a matching cardigan inside and headband with a bow on it inside. May hoped it was in her size, but if not, she left the gift recept inside with a little note written on it, "Even if it doesn't fit, we should go into the city and shop together sometime jut like we talked about!! Hope you had a nice winter break, and I can't wait to hang out with you more this semester! <3"
With the biggest bag of cookies and an additional bag of homemade fudge, Dia got a quirky little cookbook May had found in her home town. It had a bunch of Hoenn-local recipes with lots of fresh looking ingredients in it.
And finally, the last present to hand out was Yellow's. Her presents were knitted beige ear warmers with a flower on it, and a matching scarf with a flower on it as well. When May found these, she knew immediately how cute they'd look cute on Yellow and had to buy them right up.
--Finally finished passing out her presents, May awaited her friends to find their gifts at their doorstep.
