there’s always discourse about what’s considered platonic and what’s not, especially in fandoms with queer ships, and sometimes I see things like “doing x like that can not just be platonic right!!! They’re in love!!” and then I gotta pause and be like. Hm, maybe. Yes. I do that “platonically” with my friends but I’m also a little bit in love w them so maybe I just have a bad frame of reference uh ohhhh

Ok Ok I have Other things in Luca to cry about. MASSIMO. SIR. such a good dad. I think we can all agree with that, right? Supports his daughter SO MUCH and willingly helped two stray boys that he didn’t know, fed them, gave them a job, ADOPTEd one and (in theory) helped the other PAY for schooling with his daughter. HE DEFENDED ALBERTO AND LUCA AS SEA MONSTERS AFTER BEING A SWORN SEA MONSTER HUNTER. but ALSO. look at this. 

ok, this is the inside of their home, on the ground floor. upstairs is Giulia’s room. she HAS her own room. notice the bed Giulia and Massimo are sitting on? I think that’s HIS bed. judging by shots of the outside of the pescaria, this multipurpose room and Giulia’s room upstairs (which is probably accessed by the ladder on the right) is probably the whole living space. my point is, Massimo lets Giulia have her own room!!! maybe I’m overthinking this but i just think it’s so sweet.... she’s not even there all the time, just the summers, and there’s likely a lot of other things that space could’ve been used for, but he gave it to her for her own space 🥺

Since I have a sneaking suspicion I have a lot of younger people following me now (since I do primarily post kids movie content, my bad) I’m going to start tagging explicit sexual (text and otherwise suggestive pics) content as “sexual cw” just in case it makes anyone uncomfortable.
