I was sitting by the train tracks in my red rubber boots glorifying an aesthetic with shallow roots and by now you've noticed I'm a pretty girl for no reason but my own and I've no need for rhymes cause I'm too cool for syllable counts

And I've been having dreams about men I have never met and making eyes with woman I'll get when the time comes I'm exactly where I am I've made decisions and my path has been set down but not in stone just dirt and gravel cause it's just as hard to pick up and takes at least as long

I'm exactly where I need to be precisely who I need to be even when I'm piss drunk on pissed off and channeling something sly, I've got enough level in me to get by
