Dapper pads This is only an architectural render at this stage, but love the idea. Conceived by Chilean design aficionados Pezo Von Ellrichshausen Architects, this house-in-the-making forms part of the rather cool Solo Houses project, which brings together some of the world's leading young architects to design a series of holiday houses. Great concept, really. 

The 'Casa Pezo', as it's known, will look out over the majestic Matarraña region (not far from the Los puertos de Tortosa-Beceite national park, a Picasso inspirational fave), which you'll find perched between Barcelona and Valencia. Amazing location when you think about it. Particularly considering Spain's renown for dangerously hot women. Given the climate and proximity to southern Europe, holidays aside, would be the quintessential base.
