Match labels for department stores with elephants
In 1950, Takako the Elephant arrived at the rooftop amusement park of the Nihombashi Takashimaya Department Store and became instantly popular. However, four years later, Takako's weight had increased to 1.5 tonnes and she could no longer withstand the conditions on the department store roof, so she was hurriedly taken to the Ueno Zoo. It is said that the crane could not handle the animal, so he had to be taken down the Takashimaya staircase step by step!
