I'm showing 5 hints about Francesca's feelings for Virginia in an ask because why not? Thank you for sending this Amy, it was probably a decade ago 😂 I'm such a nerd at analysing everything lmfao

1 - First sign is here. She seems so dejected upon hearing the news and keeps staring at her phone, not typing anything. Specifically didn't show her face, so you can focus on her slumped body language.

2 - NOW THIS POST!!! Yes it would be too awkward with new lovebirds. Just like the Laufey song I linked (btw PERFECT for Fran's thoughts) with the line "listening to you harp on 'bout some new soulmate" they would be all lovey dovey around each other, which would make Fran flip out for sure. It'll just ruin the mood to end her year.

3 - I thought the kiss would be obvious from her reaction!! But that reaction is the same as any first kiss, "eyes widened with surprise, then a confused frown formed." SHE'S FREAKING OUT!!! Then I throw you off with "her mouth spread into that smile that lights up his world" but really it was a smile for the fireworks going off for the New Year 😅

4 - By this point, she has a lot on her mind. She's just been confessed to. She has feelings for her bestie. Looking at her phone, blocking and avoiding Virginia acts as a way to forget about those feelings and to focus on Bradley, who she likes too! Or more like starting to see him as more than just a friend. My girl is figuring things out 🥺❤️

5 - Major hint here "as if the fallout was over something else entirely" which @cakepoppresent spotted 🙂‍↕️ I was like YES CAKE YESSS!!!! I was also trying to be descriptive with her missing Ginny's familiarity. She's noticing all those small details like shampoo and her laughs, but any best friend could think like that - you're so close to each other.

EXTRA - I wanted to post this version here, but it's too obvious. You would sense it from the start, if I did and I didn't want that ^^

Alegría vs Caruso: Commentary

A little something for @matchalovertrait 💞

Fiora hadn’t uploaded a proper video for three years. Even if she did have some creativity that ‘lingered’ within her, there were too many other things that required her attention: Marisol, the twins, work. One would believe that it was motherhood that drained Fiora dry, but really her exhaust stemmed from the nature of working in a kitchen. On the few days she didn’t feel dazed or agitated, she enjoyed opening up Youtube and going live. To sit down and speak to her followers as if they were old friends separated by distance was a form of relaxation. Originally when she got into the habit of doing this, there would be a chatter (one or two) who would question when her next video would be coming out. Over time the inquiries fizzled out, amongst the viewers there was a unified acceptance for the fact Fiora may never be the influencer she was years ago.

“Alright,” she breathes out, exhaust lingering in her voice. “We hit the three hour mark…anything you guys want to talk about? If not, I’m going straight to soak in my bathtub.”

She waited, but there were no recommended topics. Some were expressing how they would be getting off as well, others congratulated her on her recent promotion to which Fiora sleepily thanked them.

Then, there came a message that caused her eyebrows to lift in intrigue:

kitty giordano: Did you hear about the results of Alegría v Caruso? 

“Yes, Kitty, I did.” Fiora replies, “I said this in a previous live, but I had been keeping up with the trial since it started. What happens in the dark always comes to light.” That was surely enough to show her stance on Dulce’s triumph. kitty giordano: I’m feeling…iffy about the outcome lol “Okay...iffy how?” Fiora asks, “can you explain more?” There was a pause, but within two minutes, a response was given. Focused, Fiora reads it under her breath, “maybe it’s because I’ve been following Caruso’s social media for awhile, but I don’t think all of the issues were taken into account or seriously enough…hm…”

With that hum, Fiora lets that statement sit with her. Naturally, Fiora felt judgmental, however, she simultaneously felt confused. “How was Caruso not taken seriously enough?” 

kitty giordano: I don’t think all of Caruso’s ideas might have been original but not all of Dulce’s ideas were original, too. 

Judgment grows, but Fiora strives to withhold it. “Well…about that. You have to remember Dulce’s Mexican.” She notes. “So what differed between the recipes she had and what Caruso had, are the methods for the cooking, what they gravitated to in terms of ingredients, y’know? All of that.”

Again, there is a moment of silence from Kitty. Fiora expected the conversation to have ended before she again resurfaces in the chat.

kitty giordano: There are a lot of similarities between Mexican and Italian food. Both rely on herbs, spices and fresh ingredients. Some people even say Italian food is spicy to them... 

Rubbing her thumb against her pointer finger, Fiora tells herself to be nice. Remember the fact Dante is sleeping the next room over and Marisol could get startled if she launched into a full blown debate… 

“So…I’m just going to say this.” Fiora begins, “my godparents are Mexican. I grew up very close to them. They would be at my parent’s dinner table as much as my parents would be at theirs. And my godmom didn’t cook. It’s not that she COULDN’T do it: she was just going to pay people to do something for her if she had the opportunity...she’s just that type of woman." 

"So, my godmom, she hired only Mexican cooks in the kitchen and the head chef was this woman from Sonora. Now me, being the nosy kid I was, I used to sneak into the kitchen to see how she prepared food. And let me tell you - it was nothing like how my Uncle Sal cooked. Italian and Mexican cooks operate differently, there is a different process.” Fiora shifts on the couch, “two cultures both use tomatoes for cuisine - what does that really mean?  ‘Cause by going by this logic, we’re going to say French cuisine is similar, too. Which is just…untrue. You would never compare French food to Italian food or Mexican food. It’s all individual and stems from…culture.”

Kitty is rendered silent, possibly agreeing. Fiora chooses to believe it's that.

meera: I’m happy Dulce won the trial but I think it’s sus she had a relationship with Caruso then tried to leave him when they got to Del Sol Valley. It’s like she knew bigger opportunities to get famous were here since its where all the celebrities are.

“I don’t think it’s sus…I don’t think it’s sus at all.” Fiora had to wonder how many fans or followers of Caruso were in her midst. When the trial started, she looked at his social media, but there wasn’t anything that wow’d her or compelled her to follow him. A lot of the traction he got had to be about his looks. Similar to Don, Caruso had the sort of face that was good for films and tv. Still, it was important to remember beauty didn’t equate to goodness. “It’s not unethical to date someone you studied with. It’s not unethical to date someone you work with and it’s not unethical to break up with someone. We don’t know the how’s and what’s behind their breakup. Maybe he was abusive, maybe he brought out the worst in her,” her voice picks up, “but considering the fact he tried to claim she was a thief and ruin her credentials, I would say he was a problem in the relationship.”

“And the truth of the matter is…this happens a lot with women. I can guarantee that there’s a female chef out here, right now, who’s getting her ideas robbed by a man. Men always tell women: go to the kitchen if we’re getting on their nerves, but if we’re too good in the kitchen they want to humble us. Suddenly, it’s a man’s profession." "Dulce was lucky to get things set right, and I’m always going to be in support of her because her problem could be my problem.”

Okay the scene:

Tyson walks into the room finding 4 chairs around the table. He just casually takes a seat and begins to wait. Not too long after, Dulce walks in, sees Tyson and hesitantly takes a seat. Tyson, being the friendly lovable man he is will strike up a conversation and Dulce begins to feel at ease. He may or may not mention the fact that he was watching diced junior (*looks at Amy*) and was rooting for Dulce to win.

A few minutes later, Aaron (in all his fabulousness) walks into the room like the sexy mf he is, takes a seat and scans the area, looks at the two, may strike up a conversation (or stay quiet and watch) we do not know.

And then comes Zaria. Girl doesn't even want to be here. She doesn't like the vibes one bit, she loathes just how bubbly Tyson is (wait till she finds out about his career as a secret agent...) Questions why Dulce is here and you'd think Aaron would be the one she gets along with, but nope. She thinks he's too cocky for her taste.

Tyson might stay a little longer, mostly to get to know the people in the room. He gets along really well with Dulce (she's a sweetheart). With Aaron, it's like a mutual respect kinda thing (don't bother him, he won't bother you) However, there is only so much one can take when it comes to Zaria's constant judgement. Aaron respectfully tells her to SHUT THE FUCK UP! Tyson thanks him. She gets angry and walks out.

one down, three left. The three seem to be getting along quite nicely. Dulce is constantly asking for fashion tips from Aaron, and he gladly answers them, making Tyson smile.

Time has passed, and Aaron has to go, leaving the first two that walked in alone. Dulce is happy she met a fashion icon and hopes Zaria is okay. Sure she was a biatch, but giving her a dose of her medecine did not sit right with Dulce (this child is too pure!!)

Tyson, though he disagrees with her, won't say that to her face and just pats her on the head. Dulce receives a message from her mom, who's come to pick her up. She smiles and hugs Tyson, glad to have made his acquaintance and of course encourages him to come visit her family's bakery. Tyson smiles and waves her bye, staying all alone in the room before walking out.

I loved making this!! and i really hope I was accurate with you guys' OCs @pralinesims @matchalovertrait and @living-undead. If not, I'd be more than happy to rewrite it :)
