WIP INTRO - Matchbreakers.

"The girl turns red before saying, "I was wondering if I could have your number. I think you're really handsome and really nice." She holds out her phone, looking down sheepishly. Xavier smiles out of habit in response to the compliment, entirely uncomfortable with the situation. He's a specialist in breaking up, not with dating people."

plot.

xavier works at match breakers. instead of setting people up on blind dates, he goes to dates and breaks up the couple. all sorts of people hire him, disapproving parents, jealous ex's, and those scared to see their ex's angry side. what he doesn't expect is falling in love with one of his own clients.

characters.

xavier, 25, main character. a quiet but firm person.

finn, 23, client of xavier's. hired him so he could show his parents that a divorce would be the best.

stacy, 28, a co-worker of xavier's. they both got into match breakers around the same time and became fast friends.

jiho, 30, another co-worker of xavier's.

based on a prompt i saw on tumblr. i've lost the original post since i started this a year ago though. a lot of this is very rough, but further updates will be linked.

Kickstarter Review: Matchbreaker

For decades there have been games, game shows, & now reality show where people try to find their better half. These shows have been a source of entertainment for a majority of people. I for one have never watched a “dating” game show or a reality show where people try to find their perfect match.
