Without a word, Hikaru would just reluctantly approach Haruhi to let her fix his… not so expertly tied tie. Look, he could dress himself well enough. Ties just weren’t his strong suit. Typical it was Kaoru who would tie them for him, but it seemed like Haruhi that was quicker on the draw this time around. 

Awkward as ever, amber eyes avoided Haruhi’s large brown ones as she would get to work in helping him out.

Glancing down at his shoes– well, sure enough. Kneeling down without a thought, the elder Hitachiin began to remedy the situation. That was one thing about shoes that really got on his nerves sometimes. Either the laces were too low quality to stay tied together without a doubled knot, or they were too high quality and still refused to stay tied.

A stupid thing to get unnecessarily irritated about, but oh well. Who ever knew Hikaru for not getting irritated at something small?

“I swear, one of the few damn times we don’t have to play up putting sunscreen on each other for guests, our stupid asses get sunburned. Just great,” Hikaru whined out pathetically as he lay on his chest, arms crossed to support his head as he let the sore skin on his back some air. It’d be a long few days of dealing with it, but at least it wasn’t horrible by any means.

Glancing over to Kaoru, though, he would send his twin a flash of worry.

“You doin’ all right over there? Is yours any worse than mine?”
