Chronosthais untied the blindfold from his masked eyes, stuffing the fabric into the pocket of his coat, handed you your file and purse back, and led you through hallways that were more bustling with more businessmen and women with bird masks than you'd ever seen before. You tried avoiding the ones looking, as they seemed the most surprised to see an omega following their chairman towards Overhaul's meeting room.
"Chronosthais?" You call out to the man in front of you. "Why is everybody staring?"
"Chrono." He said without meeting your gaze, staring anxious holes into his back. "You may call me Chrono for short, Miss L/n, if you make it through today's interview." He continued strolling down a series of hallways, then reached a set of double doors. "Hardly any other omega has made it past the sanitation room aside from you."
Were you the only one? That can't be right? You straightened your posture, trying not to linger in the hallway as Chrono held the door open for you to enter. "Thank you." You mumbled politely and came face to face with nine other masked men and an elderly man, whom you recognize from his pictures. Your instincts are going off. So many alphas were all in one room. It took everything to go against the basic instinct to kneel and present your unmarked neck before them in submission. "Good afternoon." You bow politely at a perfect angle, allowing your scent and shampoo to spread throughout the room.
Overhaul could smell you even through the air filter in his mask. Your pheromones clotted his nose, his breathing becoming shallow as he immediately stood up from his chair. "No." His golden, intense eyes were wide and dilated in shock and brightening into an even deeper, golden hue of liquid smoldering amber. "Impossible."
You raised your head. "Pardon?" You sensed it. A primal alpha as his eyes darkened, rounding the table and drawing closer. The fine hair on the back of your neck raised; your insides were buzzing and tingling with want, primitive need for this male. Your lips became a tight line, forcing yourself to remain standing and not to back away in fear. You didn't see any of the others in the room; nothing else existed except for this masked alpha wearing a red and gold plague mask. Overhaul. You recognized him now. Kai Chisaki was Overhaul.
Overhaul's eyes - his remarkable and hypnotic eyes seemed to glow with a cruel, cold, deadly edge and an otherworldly, feral need as he removed his mask. "Who are you, female omega?" He demanded, revealing the black duster mask beneath, muffling his voice, yet you could still hear the deep, low, smooth timbre of his voice with perfect clarity.
You grew tongue-tied as Overhaul prowled closer until he was less than a hand's reach from touching you, then began circling you. "I'm just me..." You whispered softly; your tongue felt thick and heavy watching his gaze drink you in and assessing you for a heartbeat longer than necessary. This male was arrogant and prideful, given the authority in his posture and voice, like any other full-blooded, purebred alpha from a long lineage and bloodline. "I'm just Y/n L/n, Overhaul, Sir." You glanced behind him at the other seated men standing behind him, then redirected your gaze forward.
Overhaul paused, circling; his lips grew into a pleased, arrogant smile as he laughed. "You know who I am?" He nodded in approval. "Good." He studied you again, your pulse racing beneath your skin and leaping when Overhaul's gaze met yours again. "This will speed things along." He tilted his head. "I assume that I need no formal introduction?"
You shook your head in answer. "No." You don't keep secrets from the CEO Boss who owns this building, who owns this city and might soon own your body, your life... for one whole year. You knew if you ran and showed him your back, he'd tackle you onto the carpeted floor and mark you within the blink of an eye. "No, alpha." You muttered softly, your words trembling slightly as you inhaled his addicting masculine scent, crisp, clean, amber and lemon hand lotion and hand sanitizer coming from beneath his white gloves.
The air around you two grew hotter, electrical and sparking.
A battle of willing and dominance clashing against you, an omega and this male, alpha.
Overhaul didn't want an omega who submitted to him and other alphas. He wanted a strong female who'd raise among other females. Challenge him; stimulating his mind as well as his body. Could you be the one? He released the restraint Overhaul had replaced on himself decades ago, on the old rusty lock holding his inner beast in place, allowing his inner beast to scent you. He could taste the sweet honey and apple bodywash your slashed on your body and the hint of vanilla and berries lotion mixing on his palate. Mine. His instincts whispered. My female. His body screamed. He found himself drooling as his wolf howled and growled. My omega. His beast calling to you, to your own inner she-wolf and omega heart.
You gasped. Your inner she-wolf answered, releasing an answering howl and melody as she rubbed beneath your skin. "Alpha, my alpha!" Your inner wolf wasn't as active as most omegas. You always assumed she was just a loner like yourself aside from Hitoshi, Katsuki, and Izuku.
You and Overhaul's world flashed into darkness.
You saw your she-wolf form run to Overhaul's larger wolf, a black wolf with metallic, liquid golden eyes. She wagged her tail, whining, rubbing her face into his midnight black fur coat, nuzzling him without fear or restraint. You were blushing in embarrassment. "I'm so sorry, she isn't usually like this..." You trailed off.
Overhaul kept his gaze on you, and a chill went through you. "He doesn't either," He clicked his tongue. "I don't like others touching me." He mumbled calmly, then visibly shuddered, as if shaking off the invisible touch between your inner beasts.
"That's fair." You nodded your head, watching your inner wolf attempt to play with the larger wolf, twice her size. You had to force yourself not to laugh as you covered your hand, but Overhaul noticed. "Aren't they being ridiculous?" Your face became hot, and you began to sweat, and you fought the urge to fidget or shuffle your feet in place.
Overhaul snorted. "Agreed." Shrugging off their invisible touch a second time.
"What do we do now?" You ask, genuinely lost and slightly afraid.
A door magically appears and opens, leading to the outside world where your real bodies lie, waiting as your instincts continue to run wild and who knows what else.
"Don't worry." Overhaul says, heading towards the door first, turning his gaze on the glowing, white light. "We won't be mating tonight." Fighting his beast's inner howls and snarls to mark you and claim you, here, now. "Not until we are married." He whispers under his breath, more to his wolf, or himself, you weren't sure. Overhaul half turns, meeting your eyes again. "I may be many things the tabloids and dark whispers say about me, little omega, but I am not a brainless and heartless brute."
You notice the corner of his eyes crinkle. You wonder if he's smiling, a beautiful and appealing, a criminally charming smile? You don't know, but you are no longer as afraid as you were before. You offer your hand. "Then, please take good care of me, Overhaul."
Hesitantly, reluctantly, Overhaul does take your hand in a white-gloved one and leads you forward into the light.
The overhead fluorescent lights were suddenly too bright and blinding for your eyes as you gasped, now completely awake and conscious of every movement and of the heavy weight being pressed against your body. You found yourself on your back, pinned beneath Overhaul, when a male above you grasped your wrists high above your head as he continued breathing in your scent. "My omega," Overhaul growls, his voice a mix between human and his nonhuman, beastlike and husky baritone; sounding not of this world; the power of a true King of Alphas. His panting chest rising up and down, falling and squeezed against your own. "I've searched for you." He growled, the vibrations traveled down your neck, along your heaving breasts as they ached to for his touch. You were both half-mad, wild and high of each other's pheromones and hormones. Every muscle and inch of your body was covered in goosebumps, nipples taut and pointed into twin peaks. HIs claws ripped the carpet above your head. "Mine at last."
His body against your own, the hard and soft parts of him made your body continue to heat up with lightning, the temptation to grind your hips against his; heat continuing to pool between your thighs, aching, a low pitiful moan of agony and desperate slipped out of you. You lean your heavy, soft frame flatter onto the soft carpeted floor beneath you. "A-Alpha." You pant and release a strangled moan as his teeth scrape along the side of your neck. You felt his full mouth curve against your heavily heated and flushed skin. Meaning, he'd taken off his cloth mask at some point during the last time you were conscious and stuck inside that never-ending darkness. Remember, Y/n. You told yourself; you agreed to this... You aren't going to cry. You can't. Tears began stinging your eyes, rolling down your cheeks and splashing on the tip of Overhaul's tongue. You could feel something hot, harder than steel and throbbing between your legs, directly over your damp panties. If my first time with a male is going to be in his office, then I'll submit.
The male's eyes snap open, immediately tensing up and sitting upright as he scans his surroundings with a critical golden eye after the red, lust-filled haze had broken. Overhaul's auburn hair tousled, sticking to his forehead from a combination of sweat and your tears. Golden eyes wild yet lifeless all the same, calculating, burning with primal lust and liquid fire; then his pupils dimmed and shrank back into their usual smaller circles. He stared down at you, drinking in your pitiful, crying, and submissive form beneath him. "I promised we wouldn't mate tonight, little omega." He said at last, slowly coming to his senses, wiping the moisture from the corner of your eyes as he released a low purring rumble to help smooth and calm your nerves. "It appears my inner beast was trying to mark you without my permission." His jaw tightened; his cheeks coloring with shame. "For that, I hope you can forgive me." He growled again, a low and frustrated savage sound as his nostrils flared - breathing in your scent of distress, your arousal and need and fear drowning his senses.
Your hands tighten into the fabric of Overhaul's black shirt. You noticed you had accidentally ripped off some of the buttons; his way was torn off his own neck or overhauled by his quirk. It was only after you regained your breath and calmed down that the room felt eerily quiet. "W-Where'd your men go?" You stammered shyly. God, you wanted him everywhere, but now, wasn't the appropriate time.
Overhaul tilted his head up. "I'd guess they fled the moment; I'd jumped you, thinking we'd consummate here." He muttered out loud, slowly backing off you and taking his warmth. "Apologies, again." Overhaul replied, his eyes drifting to the side. "I tore your sweater."
You glanced down. He did tear your cream and white striped sweater dress. "It was my favorite." You pout, covering your chest. You knew your loose fitted, chunky, sweater dress helped shape your curves nicely without being too baggy; emphasizing your fully breasts, plush stomach and thick thighs.
"Here." Overhaul looked at you again, removing one of his gloves and using his quirk to fix your sweater dress. He waited for his skin to react to touching yours - the annoying, maddening red, irritation, itching, and hives that soon followed - and found none. "You... really are quirkless." Pulling up the sleeve of his button-up, no allergic reaction. "You're my fated omega and are pure." He said breathlessly, fascinated.
"Pure?" You repeat, meeting his gleaming, golden eyes wide in disbelief and confusion. You began to remember the question of quirkless and quirk user came into play. The angry warning. He truly did want a quirkless partner. But pure? You? That's absurd.
"Untainted by the world of quirks." Overhaul explained, his gaze scanning you up and down, reanalyzing and recalculating your value and usefulness apart from an omega to birth his heir. His mind tried to make sense of it all, after all of these years of searching; scouring the globe far and wide for a quirkless omega compatible with him. He's finally found the perfect match for him. "If I touch anyone with a quirk, I break out in hives." He muttered bitterly. "It's annoying."
You finally give him a reluctant nod. "I'm sorry to hear that." You mutter out loud, after thinking it over. The drawback to Overhaul's powerful quirk and god-level power. You would hate to never be able to touch your friends and family without breaking out into such a condition, even for a child, when touch is a very important part of their nature and development. "That sounds unfortunate." You couldn't bare it. Not being able to touch the people you loved. You stand up, slowly, tilting your head up and staring at his usual stoic and unreadable expression after he slipped on his cloth and plague mask.
His eyes lock with yours; he raises a brow in question as he regards you once more with his guarded yet emotionless mask. "It has its perks, too." He gives a deadpan expression. His expression hardens, his hands balling into fists at his sides as he seemed to battle an internal struggle. "Now that I've found you. It appears we will have to alternate our marriage contract and deal."
Your heartbeat sank and dropped into the pit of your stomach. "But... we hardly know it each to be mated for the long term." You breathed, lowering your eyes to search for your file. You found it underneath the wide table. You stepped close, crouched down, and crawled underneath it to pick it up, feeling Overhaul's heated stare on your backside. "Besides, I'm not a runway model; CEO Bosses usually bright on their arms at charities, fundraisers, and magazines."
"Public standards are too plain and boring." Overhaul scoffs, promptly replying. "I don't care what you look like as long as you are healthy and can hold your own within a crowded room of people."
"I'm not used to thousands of eyes staring holes at me like I'm a giant creamy cheesecake." You huff, retrieving your file and setting it onto the table. "People usually stare at me for no longer than a few seconds before getting out of my way or ignoring me."
Overhaul straightens his posture. "Becoming my wife and omega, nobody will turn you away or ignore you ever again." He remains calm yet firm. "You will become a CEO's Wife. You will be in the spotlight the moment everyone finds out that I'm no longer on the marriage market." Not to mention his enemies in the black market and Yakuza world.
Breathe. You told yourself. Breathe. Your old habits of public speaking and stage fright coming back to you in horrifying waves. You couldn't breathe. Your blood pressure and anxiety spiking into overdrive as you gripped the edge of the table for balance to stop your legs from shaking. You knew, if you tried to talk now, you'd stutter like a fool in front of his powerful male. Your eyes were watering as your gaze drifted to the floor. "I... can't." You said finally.
Overhaul scented your anxiety and fear, causing his own instincts and inner beast to rise. He noticed your body went rigid and tense, then trembling. He recognized that look. He inwardly sighed, went to his chair, pulling off his heavy, thick olive green, furred and feathered bomber jacket, and slowly walked back to you and threw his coat around your shoulders, engulfing you in his scent. "Calm down." He whispered quietly into your ear as he stepped away. "There will be plenty of time to practice public speaking and any other lessons you need."
Your fingers grazed the fabric of his jacket, immediately turning your head to breathe in his scent. Your heart rate skipped a beat, then calmed down, your eyes fluttering half-shut, your mouth quirking into a true, innocent smile. "Thank you, Overhaul." You knew the corporate world revolved around razor-thin people who starve themselves to say beautiful and underweight. Sure, a few plus size models and arts have made their mark within the world outside of this building, but you simply wanted to stay afloat without living life on survival mode for once. If you could make someone like Kai Chisaki, Overhaul happy for one year? Then it would have been worth it, right?
Overhaul. The way you said his villain persona with such sweetness. It fed his more eager, twisted, hungrier instincts. It was purely logical and rational for two strangers to enter a marriage contract of convenience in this age, a quirk marriage, or the old law of two yakuza heirs strengthening their family ties by a blood pact. He could appreciate your calmness beneath the recognition and fear washing over your face earlier; he'll give you that respect. You didn't scream or make a big scene.
Yakuza Ceo Boss Overhaul x PS Reader OmegaVerse: 💜Chapter 1 💜Chapter 2
You stared at the intimidating building. You lowered your gaze to the address you had received in your email that you'd copied on your flower sticky note. "I hope this is right?" You rechecked the GPS on your phone. "Yup, this is it." You muttered to yourself, glancing back at the fancy building filled with multiple floors and glass windows. "Makes me wonder how up the ladder this guy is?" RavenHeart Corp. One of Japan's busiest, wealthiest pharmaceutical companies for the last decade after the new head CEO Overhaul took over his grandfather's... company? You wondered why the alpha's name sounded familiar? There's no way, right?
You were even surprised they answered so fast and texted you during your pillow fight, ahem, break with Izuku, Katsuki, and Hitoshi.
xxx-xxx-xx09: Miss Y/n L/n, congratulations, your application has been selected for an in-person interview. Would you be willing to meet today at 3pm? RavenHeart Corp's main headquarters?
"Oh, holy shit!" You freaked, nearly dropping your phone and nearly knocking over when Katsuki threw his pillow a little too hard. "Ow! Katsu!" You hissed, rubbing your aching head. "Damn, TNT Gorilla, you couldn't have thrown that a bit more gently."
"Oh, don't be such a baby." Katsuki clicked his tongue, linking his hands behind his head from his seat on the floor. "I didn't hit ya that hard."
"Who's that?" Shinso asked, popping up from his hiding place behind the couch.
"A possible job interview." You said without thinking. Well, you weren't lying. It really was a job: being mated with an alpha, marrying him, being married for a year and birthing his child... receiving money and a lump sum afterwards. You shifted your gaze back down to your phone, your cheeks burning. "They asked if I could make it today."
Izuku lowered his pillow, an understanding smile on his freckled face. "That's great. You should take it."
"Hold on." Hitoshi hopped over the back of the pouch and landed on the seat cushions. "What kind of job interview?" His inner instincts went off. "Why didn't you mention anything last night?"
"Why are you hounding her?" Katsuki turned his deep crimson eyes on the purple-haired male. "She needs the money, right? Why can't you be happy for her?"
All three of you were taken aback. You never would have expected Katsuki to come to your defense. Then again, he's fiercely loyal and overprotective of his own, small, inner circle. "Katsu." Your bottom lip wobbles, tears welling up.
"Don't you dare give me those crocodile tears, ya big baby." Katsuki countered, inwardly panicking.
Izuku rushed towards you and gave you a hug. "Go ahead and get ready; we will take over and see you when you come back, okay?" His head lay on your shoulder as he hugged you tight. You knew if Izuku had a tail, it would have been wagging.
That was Izuku's and Katsuki's approval. You raised your head and met Hitoshi's stare, his face pink. "Toshi?" You broke the hug and hesitantly stepped towards the indigo-haired male.
Hitoshi closed his eyes. Everything within him was telling him something didn't feel right. He went against his inner beast. "Fine, but call us as soon as the interview is over." He opened his violet eyes and met your own, bright eyes and smiling face. "We will pick you up and go out to eat for dinner, our treat, yeah?" His nonchalant expression broke into a small grin.
"Thank you, thank you, Toshi!" You exclaimed, running towards him and practically crawling into his lap, smothering him with kisses on the top of his forehead as you squeezed his face into your chest. "I'll repay you when I get my first paycheck, I swear!"
Hitoshi's body completely froze and locked up. "Don't mention it..." His face redder than before, his heart pounding loudly within his own ears. It took everything within him not to purr and nuzzle affectionately into your chest. You were so soft. He adored every curve. His arms finally, hesitantly wrapped around you as he allowed himself to be engulfed in your scent, happiness, and embrace. "Next time, please tell us sooner." He whispered, his grin falling as he reluctantly pulled away, tilting his head back to meet your eyes. "I... we... will always be here for you, kitten," Hitoshi said softly, his deep voice nearly cracking.
You brushed his hair aside, his long hair that you adored very much. "I'll always be here for you guys." You crawled off him, taking your warmth, scent, and weight with it. Not knowing you'd taken a tiny piece of their hearts too. "I've gotta hurry." You speed-ran down the hallway to change your clothes and take a shower. "Don't wanna be late!"
You didn't hear Katsuki's comment to Hitoshi as he held his furiously blushing face. "You gotta tell her sometime soon, troll doll, or some feral and bolder alpha is gonna steal'er away." The blonde pulls Izuku closer into his side, his own possessiveness and overprotectiveness nagging him and clawing to get out.
"I'm sure it will be fine." Izuku leaned back into his mate's embrace, purring to help ease his alpha's anxieties and temper.
Hitoshi lowered his hand away from his face, forcing a fist of determination. "I'll wait until the mourning period is over." He muttered to himself, a hopeful gleam burning hot within his deep violet eyes. Katsuki threw a pillow dead smack in Hitoshi's face. "The hell's that for?" Hitoshi glared at the spiky-haired blonde.
Katsuki sported a cocky smirk. "There's our troll doll, asshole."
"Blow it up your ass, Katsuki," Hitoshi growled, activating his quirk to mind control the blonde.
Dammit, that's cheating! Katsuki snarled within his head.
"You are on book duty, now, hop to it." Hitoshi ordered, smirking. "Izu, don't help him."
Izuku let go of Katsuki. "Alright." He watched Katsuki obey Hitoshi like a zombie, bending down to pick up the boxes full of heavy books by himself. "But... was that really necessary?" He shuddered, remembering the last time Shinso brainwashed him.
You walked into the building; people were coming and going, talking to each other or on their phones, or using Bluetooth earbuds as you stepped closer to the front desk. "Excuse me?" You swallowed and clutched your file closer to your chest. "Am I in the right building?"
A blonde woman with amber cat-like eyes and matching fangs greeted you with a bright smile. Her hair was in twin messy buns, yet she still looked cute in her oversized sweater and navy tennis skirt. "I'm not sure. What are you here for?" She chirped. "I'm Himiko Toga, receptionist for RavenHeart Corp." She reached over and shook your hand. "Who are you here to see?"
"Uhh..." Your cheeks were bright red, glancing around to make sure nobody was listening, lowering your voice to an audible whisper just between you two. "I was instructed to be here after answering the aid."
Toga tilted her head to the side. "The aid?" The beta blinked.
You inwardly groaned. "You know the aid?" You tried again. "For the omega bride wanted?"
Her eyes sparkled. "Oh, you are one of them?" She covered the lower half of her face with the back of her sleeves. "Oh, honey, there's no need to be so shy." She giggled to herself, her grin widening.
"It's rather embarrassing, if I'm being honest." You pressed your lips together, frowning.
Toga lowered her hands, giving you a warm smile. "Right this way, please." She turned towards her coworker. "Ochaco, can you take over for me, sweetie?" She said sweetly, giving her girlfriend and mate a love-drunk smile.
A brunette with round, natural blushing cheeks and matching chocolate brown eyes answered. "It's quieter than normal today," Ochaco answered, leaning over and giving her mate's hand a reassuring squeeze.
"Thank you!" Toga cheered, hugging her mate and placing a chaste kiss on her cheek. "I'll be back."
You smile. Awe, they are so cute. You feel Toga tug on your sleeve gently and silently signaling for you to follow after her in the giant floor-to-ceiling, black metal and glass window elevator behind the front desk. "Is the owner a very private person, I take you?" You asked shyly, your attention drifting and studying the pristine and clean black and white marble walls and floors. The smell of fresh wax and lemons? Well, lemon pledge is a popular floor cleaner, you thought, mentally shrugging. It smelled nice.
"That's one way to put it." Toga agrees, pressing the elevator button, which read her fingerprint with a scanner. "He's very.... antisocial, the boss, I mean." She backs away as the elevator door opens. "But you will see for yourself, won't you?"
"What? You aren't coming?" You blink, meeting Toga's teasing yellow gems.
"Not today, I'm afraid." Toga shrugged. "Chronostasis, the boss's second in command, will lead you towards the sanitation room before meeting Overhaul and Gramps." She noticed your nervousness, panting your back, and gave a tender push towards the elevator.
Your heart leaped hard within your chest. Oh, that's why his name sounded familiar. Overhaul, the big boss of this company! "Wait? What?" You were inwardly panicking and trying to remain calm, even if your distressed pheromones were leaking out of your body. "Toga, you don't mean, Overhaul, the stone-cold tyrant, do you?" Your soft and warm eyes widened like a deer caught in headlights.
"Of course, you are meeting Overhaul... who did you think you were...?" Toga tilted her head, quickly putting the pieces together, her mask of professional sweetness dropping. Her own yellow cat-like gaze widened. "What? You didn't know?! And you still came here?"
You furiously shook your head. "Nope."
The elevators began to close.
"Ugh, any advice?" You swallowed and all but begged. Clutching your file closer to your chest without crushing it.
"Whatever you do, be honest and yourself, okay!" Toga gave you a thumbs up as the thick, metal and glass door closed.
You could see her, but she couldn't see you. It was a one-way moving mirror. "That basic advice wasn't helping at all!" You moaned, covering your furiously heated face with one hand. You peeked through your fingers, watching Toga's figure disappear the higher you went up. She apparently couldn't hear you either. Oh, great, it's soundproofed too. I don't know if I should be grateful or freaked out more? "Well, I made a commitment, and I'm gonna see it through." You sighed, running your hand through your hair. "Be myself?" You mutter to yourself, unaware that all members of the Shie Hassaikai, Overhaul, and Pops were watching from the camera hidden within the elevator. "Oh boy. Why don't I just strip and show the man himself my embarrassing birthmark of a star on my ass while I'm at it?"
Overhaul raised a thin brow at that.
Chrono, Mimic, and Rappa silently were snickering.
Pops looked amused. "Well, isn't she a cute and earnest one?"
Overhaul began to wonder if he had selected the wrong choice? "She's a nervous talker, it seems." He muttered, leaning his elbow on the leather armless of his chair, his thumb grazing over the scar across the side of his forehead, absentmindedly. "That will become an annoying habit to break."
"She just needs more confidence, is all," Pops advised, sounding in good humor. "And patience from you, Kai."
Overhaul scoffed, inwardly sighing. From the very moment you entered the elevator, something inside the mob boss shifted; his inner beast grew restless, furiously rubbing beneath his skin, forcing the alpha to inwardly snarl and growl for his beast to cease his pacing and useless squirming. The giant black wolf inside of him, with large, sharp teeth and golden, intense eyes, met him within the never-ending darkness of himself. The beast huffed and gave a lower, level growl. Overhaul blinked, returning back to the present, watching you exit the elevator and into the sanitation room where Chrono waited.
"Miss L/n?" Chrono asked flatly.
"Yes, sir?" You replied, hesitantly stepping off the elevator as the doors immediately closed shut, leaving you in this room with a steampunk masked male, wearing a white raincoat in doors?
"I am Chronostathis." He greeted, no hint of warmth in his tone. All business and professional. "Overhaul's right-hand man. If for any reason you need anything, you may call me, if you force the marriage contract."
You offer Chronostathis a small, polite, and genuine smile. "Please take care of me, if I pass whatever tests Overhaul plans for me."
Overhaul's inner beast did not like that you smiled at Chrono. A wave of possessiveness and jealousy made his jaws snap and grind. "What the fucking hell is wrong with you today?" Overhaul grinds his teeth, his free gloved hand flexing and curling, his claws threatening to come out.
Pops heard his grandson, which drew his attention. "Something wrong, son?"
"Not me. Him." Overhaul grumbled, silently sneering beneath his gold and red plague mask.
The elder hummed, stroking his chin. "Could it have something to do with the young lady being close to Chrono, instead of you?" His interest grew.
"He's probably in one of his moods." Overhaul waved it off and relaxed, shifting his attention to you giving Chronostathis your file, purse, and shoes as you began to strip right in the middle of the lobby. Overhaul felt a jolt of excitement flood his veins. Silently alarming him. Excitement? Now? Why? He felt it. Red hot and burning liquid heat knotting and twisting, spreading in his abdomen. It was too soon for his heat to hit. His cheeks, back of his neck, and tips of his ears were burning. The brunette heard his inner wolf give a low, rumbling purr of approval and appreciation. Overhaul's eyes snap to your nude form, watching the last layer of undergarments molding your plushness, thick curves as you took off your bra first. His attention shifted around the room. All of the men were blindfolded. Giving you respect, even Chrono himself. Leaving only Overhaul to witness such otherworldly loveliness.
The moment your full, lush breasts were free, Overhaul's breath hitched, and his face burned hotter. He gripped the armrest tight and white-knuckled, which was ridiculous. He'd seen plenty of beautiful males and females naked in the past, begging for his attention, during strip clubs or soap lands. He never felt an immediate loss of control before. Why was his inner wolf threatening to break off his tight leash, and some inkling, annoying whisper within the Alpha, CEO mob boss wanting to kneel down before your nude body, wanting to worship every extra pound, every stretching mark, freckle, and plush, tempting softness? Overhaul swallowed thickly, his mouth dry. Did he have a preference for bigger women? He never gave it much thought before. A larger woman who wouldn't break beneath his raw primal power, weight, might and hands, if he became too rough in bed. Could take his length and knot without breaking them?
You turned around in a slow circle, chubby cheeks red with earnest embarrassment, which he found cute.
Overhaul blinked. Cute? Dammit, his grandfather's words were jammed into his head. Cute was not in his vocabulary, but apparently now, it was. The moment he saw your rear. Overhaul pressed the mic on clipped to his tie. "Chrono."
Chrono answered. "Yes, Overhaul?"
"Command the female omega to bend over and present herself." Overhaul ordered.
Pops couldn't help but comment. "Caught something, you like?" He hummed, chuckling to himself.
"We need to be thorough for any possible defects, Pops." Overhaul answered smoothly, his face on fire. His pants became tighter, his lower half throbbing and half-mast as he bites back a growl.
"Does the little female have a star on her ass, boss?" Rappa asked, genuinely curious. "If you don't want her, can Katsukame and me share her?"
If you were thrown at them, would you break? The thought of sharing you enraged his inner wolf and beast. "Haven't you two already had your fill of the last half a dozen males and females I gave you?" Overhaul commented.
"Yeah, but that was a month ago, boss," Katsukame spoke up this time.
"I told you, you were being too rough, you two brutes." Tengai sighed.
"No, you were too high on pussy that you-" Deidoro corrected, in between laughing and drinking his sake while blindfolded. "Begged the female to ride you harder, hehe."
"Says the drunk whinner to butt chug before getting pegged?" Mimic threw in his two cents, snapping at the drunkard.
"Do I need to duck tap all of your fucking mouths too?" Overhaul snapped, his purebred, alpha pheromones swarming the room in a mist of black and purple as his inner beast roared for obedience. His piercing eyes rotated throughout the now quiet boardroom, then returned to your bent-over form. You did have a birthmark in the shape of a star on your ass. Overhaul didn't know if he wanted to touch it, kiss it, or bite your rear to leave his teeth marks there. A semi-permanent claim of ownership. His gaze focused on your sex and lower lips, the patch of hair, and your hole leaking arousal and slick. Overhaul closed his eyes, taking a long, steady breath, and pressed the mic again. "Chrono." He cleared his throat, forcing his voice and heart rate to calm and slow to a steady beat. "Presentation over." He swallowed hard, his Adam's apple bobbling. "Bring her in."
"Yes, Overhaul, sir," Chrono said, a hint of a teasing tone in his voice. "She catch your fancy, boss?" He lowered his voice into a whisper, covering the mic as you appeared too busy, quickly getting redressed to notice.
"Don't start, Hari." Overhaul hissed, releasing his fingers off the mic. His whole body shuddered and thrummed before relaxing, forcing all of his lustful thoughts and instincts to drop to zero as the camera outside the boardroom cut off the live feed.

Okay 🫣 To give more context, this is my first time deep diving into the omegaverse, even if all of my other fated mates and monster lovers series have omega verse themes and common tropes. I'm basically throwing Kai and mc back to bare basics 🤭 Hope you enjoy the ride?
Let me know what you think mc should smell like to Kai?
Kai Chisaki, Overhaul, doesn't have time for dates. Not when he has to run his family's corporation during the day and their crime syndicate by night. His grandfather keeps pushing him to settle down, marry, and create an heir. If he wished to inherit his family's generations of wealth and inheritance, he needs a wife and a child within a year, or else the entire Shie Hassaikai and their corporate million-dollar company will be passed over to Kai's reckless, gold-digging harpy of a stepsister.
In a world of quirks, alphas, betas, and omegas, Overhaul is very picky about his future spouse's specifications.
After completing a highly security-coded online survey by La Brava, you happened to stumble upon the ad when you misclicked on a regular job interview.
Omega Bride, wanted. It said. One year of marriage; must produce an heir within the following time frame before the end of the marriage contract. Prenatal care, medical examinations, birth, post-partum, and childcare will all be covered outside the final payment. Monthly allowance included.
You were drowning in your father's unpaid debt.
Your mother's medical bills. God, bless her soul for seeing anything in your jackass of a flirtatious father.
All the money your mother had saved before her passing? Gone. Your father even gambled your betrothal and bridal gifts.
With only four hundred dollars in your bank account, you wouldn't be able to last until the end of the month.
After taking a deep breath, closing your eyes and mentally praying to every god above, you hit send after completing the survey. You would have to wait with your updated medical records in hand.
Chapter 1
You had quietly lived your life as an omega for thirty years.
Taking your scent blockers religiously.
Gotten through every heat alone without an Alpha.
Your adult, vibrating fake phallus with a detachable false knot had become your go-to during your heats.
Now... Now, you were stuck between a rock and a hard place. You need money. And you needed it fast.
You stared at the page you had misclicked. Your face flushed a deep shade of red. You've heard of Alpha's posted wanted lists for Omegas. But you never gave them a second thought or glance before. You figured the rich Alpha didn't want a plus size omega; they'd want a thinner female. You didn't hate your curves per se. You had noticed the glances or creepy leers from older or younger and curious alphas. You didn't want an alpha that didn't know what he was doing. You didn't want one who was labeled as a chubby chaser either. Someone who was well-mannered, well-groomed, could take care of themselves and their home without expecting you to juggle all of the housework while rearing children. Or perhaps would help lighten your load. Pamper you. Would love to snuggle into your curves.
Or perhaps you were being more greedy than most omegas?
Too picky?
You sigh. Staring at the survey. Omega Bride, wanted. It said. One year of marriage, must produce an heir within the following time frame before the end of the marriage contract. Prenatal care, medical examinations and checkups, birth, post-partum, and childcare will all be covered outside the final payment. Monthly allowance included.
You should back click. It sounded too good to be true. Could be scam.
You should forget about it; however, you really needed the money.
You were drowning in your father's unpaid debt.
Your mother's medical bills. God, bless her soul for seeing anything in your jackass of a flirtatious father. Perhaps it's because of him that you've remained unmated and unmarried for so long. Secretly unable to trust another male with your well-being and heart, let alone your body.
All the money your mother had saved before her passing? Gone. Your father even gambled your betrothal and bridal gifts. The dress your mother handmade specifically for you after altering her own wedding dress, a simple cream-white, filled with chiffon and lace, made into a ball gown, your favorite. Sold. It wasn't the money, bridal gifts, and dowery that broke your heart... it was your wedding dress. That was the last straw. Your patience and rationality snapped as you all but clawed your own father's face within hours of your mother being buried in her grave.
"After everything mother ever did for you," You spat, snarling, angry, burning tears threatening to fall, but your stubbornness and pride refused to forgive him. "You had the nerve to sell my things? My one hope of finding a match whenever I was ready?!"
"You've been unmated and unmarried well past your presentation, Y/n." Your father dared shove it in your face. Pointing an accusing finger at you. Looking at you, as if you were the one to blame and not him. "Better selling it to a ready, worthy female than sitting in your closet and collecting dust." He scoffed, looked you dead in the eye, and said the honest, cruelest thing that nearly broke your own heart into a million pieces. "Your mother's hard work and masterpiece going to waste."
This is why you and your father clashed. He wanted you to size down. He thought you were an embarrassment. You never listened. Your mother loved you regardless. She said you were beautiful and cute just the way you were. "You took away my choice!" You didn't care if your argument reached the ears of your mother's closest friends, your few remaining, living relatives, or your friends. Who you knew looked at you in pity and grew angry on your behalf. Especially Izuku, Katsuki and Hitoshi. Your three male best friends. Who your father had the nerve to ask during dinner one night if you were sleeping with all three of them?! You had stormed off without finishing dessert. That's how your mother, Izuku, Katsuki, and Hitoshi knew you were more than upset. You were enraged and beyond humiliated. That had been the last family dinner with your mother and... your father ruined it after you had busted your ass off to make a buffet of food for everyone, even after deigning Izuku's and Katsuki's help.
That had been a month ago.
With only four hundred dollars in your bank account, you wouldn't be able to last until the end of the month.
You knew your best friends would help you out if you asked. But you didn't want to bother them. Izuku and Katsuki were currently trying to get pregnant, and Hitoshi was single... yet you two always remained friends. There was an inkling long ago... but it never went anywhere, so you let it be. It wasn't meant to be.
After taking a deep breath, closing your eyes and mentally praying to every god above, you hit send after completing the survey. You would have to wait with your updated medical records in hand.
You told yourself you never wanted to sell your body for a piece of the good, pedigree life. Now? You were running out of options. Out of time. You flickered your gaze to your desk. A picture of you on your eighteenth birthday, your mother and your father... all before she became deathly ill. Cancer. You bit your lower lip. "Oh, mom." You whisper to yourself. You reach over and gently lay the photo flat onto the desk. "You don't wanna see your daughter make a fool of herself."
You clicked on the button to start the survey.
A basic profile of the Alpha in question appeared on the screen.
Your brows furrowed. There was a picture of young male of narrow build with short, shaggy, auburn hair wearing a black cloth duster mask, black button-down dress shirt, white tie, three piercings in his left ear. "Well, he looks more presentable than I expected." You smile, "Right, Mom?" You drag your gaze down his face again, or what you can see from the singular picture. You notice his eyes are thinner than most, irises are intense, small, and golden, with relatively long lower, slightly beautiful eyelashes and small, thin eyebrows. The last thing you noticed was the small scar on the left side of his forehead. "It's a shame that I can't see the lower half of his face, but... I guess." You hum to yourself, tilting your head in thought. "He has the right to cover or reveal his face to whoever he wishes." Which makes sense, given you never know what germs another person, let alone a stranger, is carrying while out and about. "Especially, strangers."
You review what's written about him.
Name: Kai Chisaki
Age: Twenty-seven years old.
Marital Status: Unmarried.
Matehood Status: Unmated.
Hair Color: Brown hair.
Eyes: Golden eyes.
Birthday: March 20th
Hobbies: Collecting medical journals
Likes: reading, working, and personal space.
Dislikes: personal space invaded, filth, and cluttered spaces.
"At least, he's clean and tidy." You purse your lips. "That's better than most males out there." Could he be a germ nut and antisocial? "Guess it's better than an overly clingy, possessive, overly jealous, and feral male."
Touya Todoroki, or Tomura Shigaraki, came to mind. Those two males who bullied you in high school. Who your mother tried to convince you that they "liked" you.
"Fat chance. mom." You snorted as you helped your mom make homemade cinnamon rolls, your hands, apron, and face covered in flour. "I wouldn't tie the knot with those two, even if somebody paid me a million dollars."
"Teenage males aren't great at expressing themselves, if they fall head over heels for someone." Your mother chuckled. "Your father couldn't have hidden it whenever he pulled my pigtails, then would sport the reddest face ever whenever I looked at him."
"I can handle a bully, if it's playful, but not abusive, Mom." You frowned, your heart aching and threatening to reopen old wounds.
"I'm not saying how you should live your life, baby." Your mom leaned over and placed her hand in your own. Her eyes darted to Izuku, Katsuki, and Hitoshi was helping your dad try to get up a new bookshelf. The stubborn old man wouldn't ask for help, so all three younger males helped anyway. "You will know the one whenever you see them. Whoever he or she is." Your mom returned to her work. "I want you to be happy and looked after whenever I'm gone, is all."
You blinked away a new wave of burning tears, sniffing, and found more random pictures underneath with simple descriptions.
Kai Chisaki covering the lower half of his face with his hand, glaring at the camera.
Kai Chisaki as a child walking beside an elder man.
"Could be his father or grandfather?" You smile.
Kai Chisaki and a silverish-grey-haired youth with arrows on their head, eating ice cream and crepes. Kai picking a banana one and Hari, a strawberry, chocolate, and banana one, during a school festival.
"Good to know he had a friend out there." You giggle.
You see a picture of adult Kai, his father or grandfather, a woman with silver-white hair, and a little girl with a slight horn standing between all of them, smiling an adorable sheepish smile.
You stared at the caption: Pops, Kai, his half-sister Yae, and his niece, Eri.
You noticed, unlike Kai's other pictures, this one... his body looked hard and rigid as if.... "He was forced to take that picture." You muttered out loud. You looked over Yae's and Eri's smiles. Yae's was picture perfect, practiced. Eri's was shy, uncomfortably shy. "Don't judge, Y/n." You whispered to yourself, scrolling to the bottom of the page.
The empty boxes staring holes at you as you filled them out and then added a descent picture of yourself, you and your mother.... then uploaded the photo of your eighteenth birthday, typing underneath: My favorite memory.
You squeezed your eyes shut and forced yourself to breathe. C'mon on, girl. You can do this. You tell yourself. At most, you've only wasted an hour, and the worst this Kai Chisaki person can say is no, right? You open your eyes, noticing you've accidentally missed a question.
Quirk or Quirkless?
Warning: Lying about being labeled quirkless or having a quirk will force the omega applicant in question off the premises immediately.
You blink. Your lips part as your heart hammers within your chest. "Who in the world would lie about being quirkless or possessing a quirk?" You ignore the whispers in the back of your head nagging at you to back out and forever ever filling out this survey and aid.
You click: Quirkless.
You knew most powerful Alphas wanted an omega with an equally powerful quirk.
Unlike most of the population, you were quirkless since birth. After taking a deep breath, closing your eyes, and mentally praying to every god. You quickly hit the submit button before your nerves and shaky hands got the best of you. "There." You whisper softly, licking your lips. "It's done."
Now all you can do is wait after getting a copy of your recently updated medical records and futility chart.
Your phone laying on top of your current romance book, went off.
Your group chat with Izuku, Katsuki, and Hitoshi appeared on the screen, drawing your attention off the computer home screen. You reach over, gently setting your laptop to the side and grin as you answer. A four-split-screen window flickered on your phone screen, showing you and your three besties. "Hey guys." You greet laying down on your bed and stretching, covering a yawn from escaping. "Ouch, my back hurts."
"Were you lifting heavy boxes again, kitten?" Hitoshi sighed; his sleepy, heavy-lidded indigo eyes met your teary-eyed gaze as you wiped away moisture wetting your lashes. "You know we'd all come back to help you pack up your mom's stuff."
"I'm almost done, Toshi." You stick out your tongue playfully.
"How much is almost done, nerd?" Katsuki grunts, lifting weights, working out in his and Izuku's home gym. That's typical Katsuki Bakugo. Mean, blunt, and leaving no room for bullshit. The blonde turned his head, his deep crimson orbs unsurprised by your silence or blushing, guilty face. "Well?" He raised a judging brow.
"Kaachan," Izuku whispers, chastising his mate and husband. The green-haired, bright, gentle green-eyed male frowns before giving you a sheepish and apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, Y/n." He speaks at you from his spot in the kitchen as he cooked his favorite meal for himself and Katsuki, Katsudon - or deep‑fried pork cutlet, served on a bed of rice with shredded cabbage, a sweet‑savory sauce, and a beaten egg on top. You don't blame him. His mother's recipe is to die for. You have to remind Izu to save you some. As if reading your mind, Izuku chuckles softly. "Don't worry, I'll make extra for you too, Y/n."
Your smile returns and brightens tenfold. "Oh, bless you, kind Izu." You giggle, giving the greenlette a one-handed hand gesture of thanks.
"But in all seriousness," Hitoshi cuts in, getting back to the topic at hand. "If you need help, just say so." You hear Toshi's cat Momo purr and meow, begging for his attention. "Yes, Momo." The purple-haired male chuckles, picking up the purring and furiously cat-kneading his pant leg. "Alright, alright, hold still wouldya." The two-year-old rescue, fluffy cat with peach colored fur and a pink nose, became close to you and Hitoshi after you both saved her from a homeless shelter.
"Awe, hey there, baby." You blow kisses at the cat as she purrs louder and rubs her head across the phone screen, then attempts to paw at your hand through the screen, nearly knocking the phone out of Hitoshi's hand.
"She's not going to pet you through the screen, Momo." Hitoshi sighs, tiredly.
You giggle anyway. "I'll come by soon, sweet girl." Momo curls into a ball in Hitoshi's lap, purring in contentment and nuzzling into his purple and black cat-covered sweatshirt you got him for Christmas a couple of years back.
"Okay, now that our peach queen has said hello, where are you at in packing up everything?" Hitoshi started again. Clearly not taking no for an answer.
"I'm still swamped." You admit at last. Your heart sank. You have to sell the house and anything that isn't nailed down or too personal to sell or give away. "I keep staring at mom's pictures, and I get all depressed and overwhelmed."
"You gotta haul ass." Katsuki reminded, wiping his heavily flushed, exerted, and sweaty forehead with the towel sitting around his neck. He glances at the calendar on the wall. "Deku and me have the day off tomorrow, if you want us to come over in the mornin'." He mumbles before chugging a few deep mouthfuls of his gigantic black and silver water bottle.
"I can take a half day." Hitoshi offers, staring down at his smart watch.
"Oh, Toshi, you don't have to, really." You know the purple haired male worked hard and barely got sleep as it is as an underground hero.
"It's fine, Y/n." Hitoshi waved you after, already typing fast on his phone after making the grope call smaller. "Besides, I'm sure Aizawa threatened to bash my head into a brick wall if I didn't use any of my vacation days anyways."
"You were always teacher's pet, troll doll," Katsuki added, leaving his workout room and trudging through the house until he joined Izuku in the kitchen, exited the call, and focused his attention on Izuku's phone on the phone stand.
"Says the firecracker who interned with Best Jeanest and Edgeshot." Hitoshi threw back, clicking his tongue, smirking as he added, "And still couldn't fix his bad attitude."
"You wanna rematch eyebags?!" Katsuki yelled into the phone screen. "Bring it! I'll kick y'er ass!"
"Kaachan, calm down!" Izuku wrapped his arms around Katsuki's middle and yanked him back; now both of them were covered in flour.
"Don't tell me to calm down, Deku, when this shithead started," Katsuki growled, baring his teeth and fangs.
Of course, Hitoshi couldn't allow the blonde pomeranian to have the last word. "And I'mma finish it too, little chihuahua."
"Who the fuck are you calling little?!" Katsuki roared.
"We'll see you guys tomorrow, okay?" Izuku gave a sheepish smile and ended the call before Katsuki would snap his phone in half or blow up their kitchen. Again.
"Toshi, why do you have to antagonize Katsu like that?" You frown, watching the purple-haired man, who's usually cool-headed and collected, act like a smartass and add fuel to Katsuki Bakugo's already easily lit bonfire. "You know the doctors told him he needs to watch his blood pressure."
"Don't blame me for spouting the truth." Hitoshi pet Momo, leaning back into his seat on the couch.
It took less than twenty hours for your application and survey to reach the hands of Overhaul himself.
💜💚🐦⬛💚💜
Kai Chisaki stares at the endless print out applicants piling his desk. It's all he's been staring at for hours. All of these runway models or cocky, two-faced, snobby rich bitches and assholes who'd do drugs from the black market, go to underground strip clubs and group orgy parties, blowing their daddies' money like an endless, unlimited bank account. All labeled under "entertainment." The Alpha felt his brows furrow; his lips pull back into a sneer of disgust beneath his black duster mask.
After completing a highly security coded online survey by La Brava, he paid the hacker to create an application survey to help speed up the process of finding a temporary wife.
Overhaul doesn't have time for dates. Not when he has to run his family's corporation during the day and their crime syndicate by night. His grandfather keeps pushing him to settle down, marry, and create an heir. If he wished to inherit his family's generations of wealth and inheritance, he needs a wife and a child within a year, one year. Or else the entire Shie Hassaikai and their corporate million-dollar company will be passed over to Kai's reckless, gold-digging harpy of a stepsister.
Kai pinched the bridge of his nose to stop the oncoming migraine from spreading. "Jesus fucking Christ, are all of these applicants either druggies, manwhores, harlets, and a social embarrassment as that black-hearted harpy?" He grunted, opening his eyes, narrowing and snarling beneath his mask as he locked eyes with Mimic and Chrono.
"A lot of our rivals and partnered gangs and sister companies are all here, Kai." Chrono sighed, stripping off his plague, steampunk mask, and raincoat hours ago. "Guessin' some heavy, high-paying clients want to plot a hostile takeover after having your kid." Only Hari and Mimic were allowed within the eight bullets to say Kai's given name and allowed in his presence. The two have known him since he was a child.
"It's been harder and harder to find a perfectly normal omega these days." Mimic huffed, carelessly tossing a stack of photos on the coffee table. The mini, talking plague doctor plush took a deep breath to calm his temper. "Male or female."
All three Yakuza inwardly groaned in frustration and exhaustion. Hours and words on the paper were blending together, making their eyes hurt. If Kai couldn't pick a candidate, then his grandfather would pick for him, and Kai didn't want that.
"There's got to be someone desperate yet normal enough to produce an heir for me." Kai groans, clamping his eyes shut. "Someone quirkless would be nice." In a world of quirks, alphas, betas, and omegas, Overhaul is very picky about his future spouse's specifications.
"Kai, you know there's a one in a thousand chance that an omega is born quirkless." Chrono brought it up gently. "Let alone not involved with the yakuza."
Mimic stared blankly at the next set of photographs until he landed on yours. "Holy shit, I found her!" His bloodshot eyes widened. "Boss, I found one!" He hopped across the sofa and landed on top of Kai's desk.
Kai raised his sharp, golden, and tired gaze. "This had better be good." He held out his hand for Mimic to hand him the paper in his awaiting gloved hand. "Let's see."
Mimic handed Overhaul the paper.
He scanned its contents quickly before rereading it and glancing at your photos on the back side of the document. "Hobbies: Baking, reading, and reviewing cafes and restaurants?" The CEO and mafia boss raised a thin brow. "She's a foodie, a bookworm, and a blogger basically." He rolled his eyes. "We need an omega that's not going to tarnish our public image."
"Yes, but she could raise our demographic and bring in new viewers and customers to Pop's favorite restaurant," Chrono said, threading his fingers, throwing his hair as he stood, digging for his cigarettes in his back pocket. "I'mma go have a long overdue smoke break."
"Don't leave your cigarette butts in the flowerpots again." Kai reminded, waving his second in command off. "Pops scold me last time when they weren't mine."
"Hey, that wasn't me; it was Mimic." Chrono paused, halfway turning and pointing at the moving plush.
"I didn't -" Mimic sneered.
"Enough," Kai released a low growl, digging his gloved fingers into his pounding and aching head. He's trying to quit smoking, and his two fellow smokers aren't helping. One, his grandfather keeps nagging. And two, he'll need to quit before his future wife becomes pregnant. "Come back, clean up, and then we can call it quits for tonight. Y/n L/N. The mob boss repeats the name; his masked mouth quirks. Perhaps, if you were lucky, you will become his spouse for a year.
