And 10 years later, I built @materialmemorie to where it is today and I will no longer tolerate my art, my brand and my heart to be continually dissected, studied and ridiculed by anyone, let alone the pettiness of my “competitors”. To discredit my art, is the same as to devalue my journey, my sacrifices and the people who have only lifted me. I don’t seek fame, I passionately seek art by own definition. I built my brand with a distinct POV and have ridden the coattails of my own talent. If you’re just learning about me, this is only the beginning. My heart only swells when I see anyone wear my designs and that person sparkles from within because they’re wearing a part of me. Parts of me that aren’t beautiful, that don’t sparkle.
