The cosmic birth of VIC†OЯHUGO

Back in the spring of 2013, my friends; made up of my collaborators, artists, designers, creatives in their own right, decided upon this shoot. At the time it was the scariest thing I had ever done. To expose oneself in such a manner is definitely risqué. However conceptually it was meant to further blur as well as define MATERIAL MEMORIE’s brand.

It personally became the most artistically liberating experience. As I feel that by creating eyewear is equal to creating armor, the experience became not only about creating but also becoming the armor.
