Unlikely Reunion

Peridot only knew very little about Rose Quartz from the information provided in the data base provided in the holographic interface, and it really wasn't in her interest to find out more due to the fact that there were more important tasks to be done at the time. She always assumed that the gem was terrible, at least according to Jasper, and always feigned interest as a result. But she didn’t ever expect to meet Rose Quartz face to face, for she thought that the gem had disappeared thousands of years ago. 

Peridot’s eyes briefly widened as she glanced up from the holographic screen in front of her, the look on her face expressing straight bewilderment. 

“I must be seeing things right now.” Peridot monotonously muttered under her breath, blinking harshly as she shut down the holograph program with a whirring noise. 

“Is this some kind of joke? You can’t be here- You’re-” Peridot stumbled over her words, letting her confusion get the best of her. “Agh, I’m so confused!” Peridot raised her voice in exasperation, throwing her hands to her head. "What are you doing here?!"

3. Uncertain kiss

This didn’t really seem “natural” but like heck if she cared. She blushes a tad before quickly lading a kiss on her alternate’s lips before looking away.
