I hate math
Hi! Just wondering is math 3c hard? What do you learn in that course and was the professor good?
first order differential equations and an intro to linear algebra-matrices, determinants, spanning, linear independence, vector spaces, etc
I took it over summer, so I had a grad student rather than true prof, but she was a good teacher. I also went to CLAS though :)as for it being hard...math has always come naturally to me. I'm good at math without trying too hard. So for me, it wasn't. I went to class and paid attention; tried my homework some days, wolframmed it other days; and then studied for her tests. CLAS helped to a degree too. That being said, I've had other friends who have found it ridiculously hard and couldn't keep up-even friends who took it over summer with me. I think it's just a personality thing.
mandatory annoyance post that grades aren't up for summer session -___-
but also, passtime is today! one of the few times I'm excited for pass three :)
also,
why did we stop using x's and start using t's?
fuck negative numbers.
I've had to redo like 3 matrix multiplication problems because I forgot a negative sign when copying down the original problem
