BIG MOUTH SEASON 7 SPOILER WARNING
Okay but can we talk about Mathew and Caleb for a second and how they were played in season 7 because AHHHH I love them.
I hate Mathew for abandoning Caleb when he was checking the escape exit but the way he checked up on him when he saw Caleb panicking in the cafeteria and kinda comforted him had my heart. With the way Caleb reacted to the comfort to made it seem like to me its happened before and how Mathew apologized. EEEEE
Also Caleb being sad that Mathew wont do the school news in high school and not being able to process it. Them having the smallest argument about it. Caleb saying how that's the only time they talk and Mathew making the call to meet up for coffee once a week except for the third week of the month.
And how Caleb changed his whole plan that he worked on to try and become Mathews best friend with the help of logic rock and I love his mom for encouraging him though his backpack breaking broke my heart and him being stressed was so accurate.
I also love how Mathew asked for the shop lights to be turned down and paid the girls to leave so Caleb could feel safe in the store. Even helping him find an okay backpack.
I love them.
All of these moments were so fucking cute and I need season 8 immediately.
I really feel like Mathew is his person like he does seem happy around him and I may ship them slightly but there friendship is so cute.
