A thousand lec but it's the last maths mid so it's like i'm celebrating in tears

4 hours of trying to get the intuition behind Laplace transformation and i spin out of control of what is they're talking about what imaginary really is what im doing and i spent much more time before getting these things clear...

HOLY HELL I don't know how I did it, but I got the Maths Nightmare avatar and 3rd place trophy last night!!

Math has always been, and forever will be, my weakest and most hated subject. Lemme tell you a thing or two about me and the maths...

~In elementary school I was always one of the kids who had to take extra private lessons with teachers in order to keep up in class. Long division was insufferable.

~ In middle school I FAILED 8th grade math with an embarrassingly low percentage. My teacher "forced" a passing grade after I promised to try harder in high school.

~ In high school I still didn't "get" most of math. My grades were low, and I copied work from friends in order to keep from failing. I cheated on the algebra exam and pretty much the entire geometry course. I used my TI-83 solely to play tetris and block dude.

~In college I was required to take a "remedial" math course and needed a stats class for my psych major but after I was finished with those I kissed institutional mathematics education goodbye forever & never looked back.

Moral of the story: It doesn't matter if you suck at math and still use a calculator for even the most basic equations, you can still earn a Maths Nightmare trophy and feel like a champ!

my advice for the double dare:

play on division/potato counter

when it gets to like round 6 at the beginning type in letimiyasleep and you will for sure win.

Remember the plot of the neopets.com game Maths Nightmare? A little aisha girl is nervous about an upcoming math test, and keeps having nightmares where she has to solve the math problems shown on the sides of floating sheep. That exact thing keeps happening to me, minus the nerves and cute sheep, and with more square roots and exponents than I remember Maths Nightmare ever having. Looking forward to the end of the quarter so much....

There's a nightbloggers' post addressing this already but the "sexiest" chapter in all of math also almost barred me from being accepted into this university
