Polly's bills are almost due and she doesn't have enough money to cover all of them. Aside from her part-time work at the bookstore, she also plays for tips to get some extra simoleons. She plays the guitar quite well... Matilda and Marina are impressed!
Amused, Matilda approached Polly to introduce herself and offer a compliment.

Bridgeport Outtakes
What follows are rather outtakes of what could have been Pat and Jun's date at Waylon's Hunt, which didn't happen thanks to the fact that the place, as usual, was full to the brim and nobody in there could move from where they were. 😄
Jun did come to the appointment, but Pat was never able to reach her (classic The Sims). In the foreground, we can see Elvira Slayer enjoying the music.
Sims were blocking the way because they wanted to see Matilda and Emmy Star play. The only ones not interested in their music were Rafael Striker and Lenny Strutter, who could be seen dancing very romantically.
Well, now Pat knows what Bianca meant when she said Rafael's love life was “complicated”. So, this is why Suzy Strummer doesn't stand a chance with Rafael! By the way, Ace was there too, which almost scared Patrick away, but he kept trying to get to where Jun was, unsuccessfully, of course.
He finally made it to the stage, Jun was only a few steps away but didn't even notice him. Then closing time came and no one could interact anymore. It's always the same with this particular bar, it fills to the top and when you finally manage to torder a drink it's time to close already. But don't worry, Pat and Jun will meet somehow, somewhere, sooner or later. 😉

LYDIA: I knew I recognized you from somewhere! the shows at Eugi’s right?
MATILDA: Yes! It’s not my usual scene there truthfully, I go here more. But I went there once with my roommates and you were performing, and well...I just kept going back to see you guys perform.
LYDIA: So you’re a big fan then?
MATILDA: Definitely. I hope that doesn’t weird you out
LYDIA: No way! I’m glad you like our music! It would be worse being so into you if you hated my band, it’s kinda my life
MATILDA: Oh? You’re into me, huh?
LYDIA: Definitely

Anyways! That day started the same as any other. Mom and Dad were doing...whatever it is they do during the day. And of course, Matilda was “honing her diverse skill portfolio” *snorts* She’s such a klutz, but that earnestness is one of the things I love most about her. And where was I?
