“Are you nervous?” Jon and Maddy turn to each other, bearing a similar shy grin as they walk through the halls of their wedding planner’s buisness off. “A good kind of nervous,” Jon replies, his arm wrapping around his fiance’s shoulders. The doorman smiles, nodding as he opens the door to the wedding planner’s office, leading them to take a seat at her dest. “Now, Ms. Raymond hasn’t arrived yet, but she’ll be in in just a moment.” Maddy and Jon nod, allowing him to take his leave. Jon wasn’t one for surprises, but Maddy was determined to wow him with this wedding planner she found on Yelp with the best reviews she had ever seen. “I promise, you’ll absolutely love her.” she grins, shifting in her seat. “Was keeping her name necessary?” he raises a brow, chuckling. “--Yeah,” she nudges him, as a matter of fact. “You know so many people, if she turned out to be the wedding planner to a couple we already know, I’d absoutely lose it.” He laughs, bringing her head close to plant a kiss on top of it. “You’re always striving to be the best,” he sighs, ultimately finding it cute, despite it being a slight burden. “---Not the best, just...” she tilts her head, trying to find the right word. “...The ones to be admired.” Shaking his head, he wants to speak again, but gets interruped by the door opening. “She’s here!” Maddy whispers with excitement, turning to greet her with hellos before Jon gets a chance to turn around. However, when he does, he freezes... speechless.
