Flicking one of your antennae, two drones start to lead the way down the massive tree youre on.

Its a rather hazardous route as you find out, you have to wait for your wings to dry before you can even start descending. as you flit your way down the branches, you see the stars adorning the night sky handsomely, and a cluster of three moons travelling slowly through the starscape,

Your drones eventually stop on one rather large branch, with an opening into the trunk of this tree, and wait for you before doing anything else. As you descend you notice a number of brightly colored berries glittering amongst the branches.

Matriarch Intro

The first sight to greet you as you emerge is the face of your caretaker.

Its a drone, one of four, your inheritance, and probably the last surviving members of the last Hive. You can feel its mind probing into you, and as easily as you take your first breathe you subjugate it to your will, the rest following suit. 

You gaze out to your new dominion, and as far as your eyes can see is the canopy of a dense forest. Fitting how your first home is in one of the tallest tree around. 

You hunger. 

Your drones have some food, but seeing as they weren't directed, very little is available. its enough to stave hunger away for now, but you'll need more to grow. to lay.
