Matriarch
You bring a handful of berries to you mouth and pop one in. as you shew the sweetness fills your mouth and you continue eating them, one by one till you feel youre sated on the berries at least for now. you still want something more... substantial tho.
From here you can see into the trunk despite the lack of light, there seems to be some glowing moss of sorts illuminating parts of it.
You sense what your drones could not, and you know there is something alive inside of there. Beyond that, not much else. you really dont know anything about this surrounding area, maybe the drones in their forays have learned and found things.
Sending the query like a pulse all four of them respond with their memories of this area. 10 originally, all hatched before you to prepare for your coming. 6 died. 2 to a very fast creature that flew in the skies around the tree in the daylight hours. picked off while picking the berries. 3 to strange creatures that seemed to have no limbs that moved with some amount of speed that were... hard to spot. with long flexible bodies that seemed to meld colors around them together and came from unexpected angles. The last fell prey to the scent of a strange plant. once it was caught it couldnt escape its hold without a queen to guide it.
All of these deaths occurred relatively close to where you are right now. As You and your drones gather more berries, you tell them drones to chime in and warn you of these things before hand. you also make a note to have your future children do the same.
