I watched Matrix 4 again and still have mixed feelings, but I definitely salute the attempt, the gesture. It tried to take a big swing, but its worse feature is boring CW-show tier cinematography, music and pacing. It still have some great scenes imo. And again I get the intention for the meta commentary, out of all movies its clearly why new Matrix is so meta. Its very personal, but it reminded me of cloud atlas a lot after the second watch, even more than it resembles matrix, that also not good i guess
