ok please help but i have a question about shiny breeding/the matsuda method. iv read up that having a foreign ditto is best to use cus then u can breed ditto with any pokemon u catch in your game,

but what if i use a ditto caught from my game and a pokemon i got from japan in suprise trade? would that still count as the Matsuda Method or help my chances at all?
