Kenny Gourmet dropped his latest track With The Tide with support from local producer N.D.T along with some low key visuals. Last time we heard any Kenny was with Matt Brevner on Villain (which was fuego) and dude came back with another powerful track that’s giving us the winter feels. Find more Kenny Gourmet on Bandcamp
Snak the Ripper vs Madchild [Rant/story] Canadian hip hop
Mmkay so I wanted to talk about this because I feel like everyone is voicing their opinions so if you’re interested keep reading…I’ve loved rap for all my life and underground hip hop like this is what I listen too and I got caught up in this type of Canadian rap/American culture with Canadian:madchild, Canadian:snak the ripper, Canadian:merules [all bc originated] (USA) vinnie Paz, and (USA)slaine ect..For those of you that don’t know SDK(stomp down killas) is what snak is associated w and baxwar or battleaxe warriors is the label madchild reps. You have too pay $150 to become a “battleaxe warrior” to buy merch and get the patch lol. Madchild claims to b sober but there has been allegations that he is not, and in the past he’s blown at least 3mil on oxy. Snaks pretty chi I guess, I saw him live w caspian and Jaclyn gee but snak was only up for like 45 min or so. Madchild recycles lyrics and is washed up. So lemme begin anyways mad(Shane bunting) made a dumb tweet dissing snak, then snak made a diss track. Then like a day later Matt brevner comes out w a diss for mad w snak in the background of the vid for moral support I suppose. Matt and snak expose things and make Shane look like a goof. These songs are astonishingly impressive and I highly advise watching them or one if you’ve read this far..So mad is on tour w 57 shows and got home 5 days later. He came out w a diss track w no video and it’s a better song than his last album all together lol. After that Snak comes out w another song even harder than before. I enjoy these songs but they are eventually going to run out of shit to say unless one gets verbally assaulted over a song they should rap battle it out like mad says kotd for charity and we’ll see who the real winner is here but If snak wins it’ll probably ruin his career, oppose to mad winning snak will still make music most likely and this is all really getting his name out there. I’ve listened too all these artists throughly for years now and know almost every lyric it’s fucked so if you wanted opinion or questions or comments msg me. I’ve put the links to the songs in chronicle order for your convenience and I’m sure there will b more to come -Bailey outt pce
Overall I am just so stoked at the amount of good songs releasing all at one time.

Alright, so here is another release from my friends across the province. The #bsharp team is at it again, with the release of "2 Litre." Stevie Ross x Matt Brevner make their features in this great visual form of artwork. I personally quite enjoyed the song. The video concept is set in an underground fight venue, where bets are being placed on different fighters - a nice little "bloodsport" story line which was appeasing to the eye, keeping the audience engaged! "fuck all that boombap and underground" was probably my favorite line from the entire song. Me and Tom have been known to have some great "debates" on the matter. hahaha Funny cause Im an underground artist. But I feel the love! I thoroughly enjoyed the video, and am I fan of what these boys are putting out there! Some great Canadian talent on the come up!
