Welcome to Alec Hair Appreciation Saturday!

Today we have another The Bike Thief image where Alec's hair is, apart from those scenes in Amulet, the SHORTEST I have ever seen it.

This is SUCH a different energy with so much of his curls gone! it throws into sharp relief his bone structure, the set of his brows, and I keep being drawn to the dark intensity of his eyes. He looks focused and calm and dangerous which makes me need to take a moment. Or several. Several moments.

I'm SO excited for this film, not only because he is the lead and it sounds like a great vehicle for his talents, but it will show his range and how he can do SO MANY things! Also, hopefully, MORE ALEC CONTENT! We can but hope. :-D

It's Alec Fanart Sunday!

In keeping with our Hair Appreciation post yesterday, this is some AWESOME The Bike Thief fanart from Instagram artist @miz_no_8ight, which has been posted before, since it is so amazing! ! After looking at all their work I OFFICIALLY stan them so much! I am almost positive they work in digital illustration and their work is pop culture heavy wth VERY COOL depictions of all your faves!

I love the composition of this, the colors and the energy. The pop of red on the helmet and the accent of red on the left highlight the focal point of the piece, and the film. Alec's stylized profile in the back with his HUGE eyes moves the viewer's gaze over the entire surface, as does the framed panels and yellow streaks denoting movement. ALL their work is amazing! Check it out!

I also found quite a bit of Alec content regarding The Bike Thief, as well as other stuff, which is how that goes with our boy, who is just not about the social media updating. It's either a barren desert or you find ALL THE THINGS lol. I look forward to sharing them with you all soon! :-D

かっこいいお姉ちゃんバンドって中々いない。

かわい子ちゃんバンドなら沢山いるのにね〜。

皆んなビジュアルだけ、、、悪いけれど、見た目だけ女で口調が、野郎言葉になるのだから不思議。

でもこの人達は、可愛さやお色気をルックスには出さずに、歌詞に乗せ、そして声で表す。メロディで女心を奏でるの。

どこにも野郎言葉などない。

下町のお姉ちゃんのように、チャキチャキさ、威勢の良さはあるけれどね。

そしてメンバー全員が、テクニックの持ち主なのだから、夢中になるしかないよね〜。

The Sculptural Ceramics of  Matt Chambers

The ceramic works of Matthew Chambers are born from a love of geometric and constructivist art, architecture, and design.

Each piece is a constructed abstract exploration of shape combining traditional processes and contemporary form, designed to create a visual and tactile beauty and intrigue. They are minimalist yet complex objects built from layering many sections within a single form.

Technical Information

Ceramic sculpture and vessels made from stoneware clay. Colour using oxides and stains is added directly to the clay before the making process, and each piece is constructed from many sections individually hand thrown on the potters wheel. Each piece is carefully sanded and polished before and after the firings to ensure a speckled, stone like finish that is highly smooth and tactile.
