Didn’t hit my new target word count for the day, but I did hit 1k so good enough

more introspection from Matt, mostly about Lyric and Angie, but a bit about Katie 

a little bit more history on Katie and Mikaia, but not very much because a cat jumped on me and I got distracted

also started on K-Dance meeting Matt

I’ll hopefully be able to write more tomorrow, but I was exhausted today so I skipped my work out, which means I skipped scheduled writing time

ugh when I reread K-Dance and started working on it I read the hand written version in my notebook. I’m looking at the typed version now, which is the same at the end of it, and some of the beginning is different? I don’t remember Dr. Truman. And Matt’s head trauma came from a car accident? I mean, that’s getting changed, but it’s weird. 

K-Dance’s room is described in a lot of detail. And it’s more Abby’s style than what I’ve been imagining as K-Dance. KT does ballet and apparently that makes her not like K-Dance??? But K-Dance is supposed to be a dancer? 

There’s more stuff leaning towards K-Dance/Abby, which I’m not surprised about and tbh, it might appear. I’m rereading the beginning looking for what I have on Abby, because I can’t figure out where her character arch is going. 

And I referred to Abby as Abigail Natasha?

Progress:

I barely did any writing today. I didn’t get a chance to sit down and write until 11:53 at night. It was kind of a crazy day. I went to work at 8:45 this morning thinking I’d be leaving by 12:15 and have a few hours in my afternoon to do work before my second shift. I ended up staying until 7pm and working three shifts today, with literally no breaks. And then I had to go deal with some other stuff, so I was out doing stuff until nearly 10, and the dinner and a shower and life. 

So I think considering I had about 7 minutes of writing, I think I did a pretty decent job. 

Also, Katie did tap dance when she was three and Matt is making fun of her for it. 

And I need to learn more about dance styles and whatnot because I have no idea about anything. 

Music: nothing, just my phone buzzing way too much

and then I switched over to Matt’s POV, and he gave us some backstory on Lyric and him, and their life before she left

Angela is calling Lyric, not sure how that’s going to go

Matt admitted to being in communication with Lyric more, and gave some details

also admitted to having met Noah and Hunter before

Watson has a first name now, and it’s Holt, and I’ve updated his profile accordingly

Matt asked Katie to go out to California with Angie and Angela, to make sure that Angie is looked after, because he knows Angela will be distracted by Lyric

more details about Lyric’s mental illness and back story

hit 57k on K-Dance, should probably start picking up the pace on that, things have started getting drawn out because there’s more plot lines than I anticipated

Angela has decided that she and Angie are both going to the funeral, and is not letting Angie have a say in this

Matt admitted that he has been in contact with Lyric, and that he knew about the twins, Angie is upset about it

I didn’t get to 1k, because midnight came a little too fast, I’ll write extra tomorrow but I’m tired tonight

I switched over to Katie’s POV pretty quick because there are things I was missing and I felt that would help, and it did

Matt woke up

No one has bothered to tell Angela yet, whoops

Music:  a shitload of songs about people named Katie because I now have 21 of those

Things that will happen:

a scene of K-Dance and her coach talking about her lack of inspiration and that it’s been a problem for awhile now, she tries a few different things but none of them work until she finds one that makes her think of Katie, and it’s different than her normal style

Katie comes to her recital

K-Dance and Angie becoming friends

Katie struggling to continue to take care of Angie and Mickey and to also help out Matt when he needs it, because it takes him a while to recover

Mickey has trouble in preschool

Angie finds out that her mom reached out because Noah died, and learns that she had a brother and never got to know him

an exploration of Katie more, as a person, because Angie seems to be taking over a portion of the story

a time when Katie can be there for K-Dance, like K-Dance was for her
