I've just now realised that the reason I'm a little upset that no one has acknowledged that it's my (30th) birthday tomorrow is that my brother and his wife got married on my 20th birthday (and it didn't feel very nice) 🤦 I completely forgot that happened but it does explain why I'm feeling this way lol
#yeah I'm talking about that again#I'm not even upset anymore just thinking a lot#I also realised I've been making cakes for people's birthday for 10+ years and no one ever asked me if I might want one for my birthday#just generally feeling not very appreciated or whatever#(my husband did then make me a cake when I mentioned that to him which was nice of him)#*birthdays#I was not allowed to complain at all about the wedding thing and the whole day was about them (understandably but they could have picked..#literally any other day idk)#and my 25th was three days after my dad died#so it's all a lot of bad memories and I guess I had hoped my 30th would be better... it doesn't even matter I'm just overthinking things 🤦#the way things have been going for the past week I'll probably be so tired that I'll sleep most of the day anyway so it really doesn't -#matter lol#personal
